This is weird. I called them more than a week ago and they informed my PR card was approved and sent to production. I landed on June 22nd.
Unless they only check the photos during the production process..

The delay is for the applications that are requested for new photos since the old photos were rejected as not per standards.
So the processing for such applications have reached the que starting 25th July.

It's not the landing date but the photo request date.

I tried all the options including uci and family name. i cant link it i dont know why?? can anybody help with that

It should be the place of birth. Check the place of birth on your passport and enter the exact same name. If passport has town_name & province_name, enter both.

And make sure no special characters entered. ex: If your POB is "Mumbai, Maharastra" in PP then just keep it "Mumbai Maharastra" without comma it should show up.

Actually, mine had a "/" and it was how I could link the application. I think this may vary.

I was requested new photos on Aug 2nd and sent it to them today. It should reach them on Aug 9th. When can I expect my PR card? Thanks a lot!

Interesting mate, I had a "," and it never worked. Just removed it and it just linked my application.

I was requested new photos on Aug 2nd and sent it to them today. It should reach them on Aug 9th. When can I expect my PR card? Thanks a lot!

So your PR card also got delayed. They opened the file on 2nd Aug, found some discrepancy in photos and sent you a photo request.
As per my last call with IRCC they are processing photo request application of 25th June.
So give and take your PR card got delayed by 4-5 weeks

I think to receive the PR cards it should take 61 days. However, some people took them 45 days only. anyone with the same experience?

A quick urgent question if CIC needs a new photo how will they notify us? Should we get a email? Or i will have to link pr card processing to my CIC account?
