Hi guys,
Thanks a lot for all the useful information. My husband and I are both living in Jordan and we sent the application via mail as stated on the website. The application was received on 17 July. How long do you think we have to wait before we receive AOR?
What did you send by mail? Are you applying for express entry? What stream? Kindly elaborate so we can help you.

It mentions "Changes in Employment" in that link. Are you sure I do not have to let them know? What if they call my company and learn that I no longer work there.

Even if IRCC calls, you are only responsible until the day you filed your application. You are liberty to inform them, but it does not impact the application. If you suspect that after you leave your job if in case IRCC calls and your employer will not be forthcoming to answer their questions, then feel free to inform IRCC via CSE.
But it will have no impact either way on the processing of your application.

Also, @Kiran K has rightly stated that if you are a CEC or have a job offer in Canada, then you should inform.

Yes. The status changed in order to submit your RPRF.

Could you please share your timeline please. I am currently in NA2 stage since 24th July. I am waiting for the RPRF request.

My BGC is in NA2 since 7th July. No movement in BGC status since then :(

Timeline are as follows:
AOR - 5th June 2017
Medical Passed - 7th July
IP1--> NA - 7th July
RFRF - 27th July

Hi there. Thanks for your kind words.
Your R10 (document completeness check is done). As IP1 is over. 15-25 days in NA2 is very very common, nothing to worry, every month has few files being processed quickly, do not worry seeing other people's statuses. Every case is different, sometimes the VO is fast and other are slow, sometimes extensive travel history like yours can also delay file a bit (not much just few days difference). Sometimes applications get passed in to further review for some checks when the case analyst is not sure of the check completely. So there are many many uncalled for and unpredictable factors in every case. Your file is going at great speed, nothing to worry at all. you will see IP2 most likely in next 10 days if all goes well.
Wish you luck.
Thank you so much for you detailed explanation. I guess I should wait till August 10th.

If you have 8-9 years of experience in two diff NOC and the express entry profile gives u points for 3+ years in one NOC. So is this mandatory that your 3+ exp has to be your primary NOC. Because as per my understanding primary noc is relevant for pnp nominations and job bank only.

Secondly how can we come to know we have cleared eligibility while being in NA 2

I have a question. ITA, April, AOR in July 2017. After submitting the application, I had an additional document request to upload the FBI Clearance. It was delayed a bit and I will upload today. I realized that I had not uploaded a translation (German to English) for one of my work experiences in 2007, nearly 10 years ago and that's not my primary NOC.

So should I upload one document with the FBI clearance on top and also attach a letter of explanation citing the additional translated document under that?
Will it be ok to do so or that slot is just for police clearance certificates and we can update IRCC in some other way.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

If you have filed your application under FSW there are two different factors to keep in mind for the eligibility.

The CRS; and
MEC

For the CRS you get highest points for 3+ years of work ex.
For MEC (FSW) you get max points for 6+ years of work ex.

You have to meet the CRS and MEC to qualify - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

As regards your primary NOC, you have to have at least one full year of work ex to qualify under FSW. You can combine different NOCs to get those points. However, when deciding you primary NOC, you can pick anyone, as long as you have one full year of work ex in that specific NOC.

The status updates such as IP1, IP2 and NA are just indicative of progress in your application and based on speculation. To be sure if you have cleared "passed" eligibility the only sure shot way is through GCMS notes.

You should only upload the requested document in the new upload window. For any additional document, you can raise a CSE.

However, any work experience which is over 10 years old is not counted for FSW.
