Is yours at Sydney all the time? I check mine twice (recent one yesterday), both being told in OttawaSo scared to ask for Visa office now. I have a sinking feeling I have been shipped off with you to LVO. I am up for update on Visa office on the 7th of Aug ( checking for update on visa office every two weeks) the Last update was 21st of July (still at Sydney as at 21/07/2017)
I got this response after a day..i emailed on Tuesday, they responded on Wednesday. After how many days you got this mail??
There is another thread of folks stuck in London VO and I did lurk around there. A lot of pakistani and Nigerian cases are handled there. Many PNP cases there too. I am neither Nigerian, Pakistani nor a PNP but I am there for load sharing obviously. There are folks there with 8 months AOR in waiting at London though amajority seem to be getting PPR on the 6th month. I am on day 108 today and I have no hopes of getting my PPR before day 180 now. Its a long wait...but hey, better late than never.
London has a reputation of files just lying there ''úntouched' based on GCMS notes since they are overburdened there. I still dont understand why they keep shipping files there.
I had a change of ADR last week. My ADR changed to "we don't need additional documents". and I was excited since I heard that in many cases, this happens before IP2. However based on what I read on the London VO thread, that means nothing for CIO folks. It means, that they have dressed us up really well, made us prim and proper, polished our shoes and sent us off to our AUNT in LONDON VO!
The ADR change means that they have checked all our files at CIO - It is technically an Eligibility check based on past GCMS notes. However, London doesn't seem to believe the CIO check so many GCMS notes show that London checks the eligibility again and then it goes to security and then PPR from London office. You are of course free to send your passport for stamping to your local VO but the PPR mail comes from London.
Average processing time from what I see for London - 150 to 200 days. And they usually don't even freaking look at your files for a month or two. And that's how the cookie crumbles!
I wonder which local visa office they are gonna ship me too. And when...that's the question!I got the same response this evening.
Mate, take it easy for now. Frankly you have no reason to panic. It's hardly 14 days of your NA. After a few days enquire your status.Hello all,
I read somewhere on the forum that some countries will take long process time, I'm Libyan and now am really worried as I read that it maybe unsafe country
The problem I don't know any other Libyans who applied to EE to compare my timeline
Aor may 31
Medicals passed 10 July
NA 2 since July 12 I think
Agree. Anything before 6 months is a bonus. Not fair but they said 6 months and everything under that is a blessing! It all depends which Visa office takes your case.
I used a lawyer fr immigration, but i provided divorce certificate and my daughters custody papers, i guess they are additional certificatesI had "additional documents being reviewed" status after system update, didn't actually provide any. Just today it changed to "we do not need". BG is NA since 17 June, I really want to believe it is a good sign that somebody opened the file and looked at it. Did you provide additional documents?
How can i know my visa office? Only through emailing cic or gcms note? There is another thread of folks stuck in London VO and I did lurk around there. Back ground check still NAAfter medical pass the additional doc status was we are reviewing, then after some days it changed to we do not need any additional docs, then again after IP2, the status changed to we are reviewing your additional docs, so its normal i guess, whats your bgc status?
BONUS!!!!???????Agree. Anything before 6 months is a bonus.
That's the best way to go.I've decided to get a PCC just to be on the safer side. It only takes about 3 business days. So I think I should be good.
No no dear, don't worry my file was at Ottawa till the last, never to any LVO ever. So can be easy there. I had only instructions in PPR e-mail to send to my nearest VO.I hope not, didnt contact them since I got a clear answer on my application on 17 July. It was still in Ottawa when it was already approved so I think there is no need to transfer it anywhere. Tell me, your application was in Ottawa too right? It didnt go to Local visa office (where you sent your Passport), ever?
