That's very odd. My store had no issue stamping the back of a photo, and the person who took my photo said she does Canadian pictures regularly. I had to write my name and date of birth on the back as I forgot to ask for it.@djm1414 @tomie0987 I spoke with local Walgreens just now. They said they can do the photo as per Canadian specs, but they might be rejected because the details aren't stamped on the backside of the photo. They won't stamp details due to policy.
CIC website says that the photographer needs to write or stamp on the backside. Is it acceptable if we write that information by ourselves?

Won't CIC come to know that these stores don't give any such thing in writing?
How will they know who wrote the information on the back of the photo as long as it is there?
