I haven't faced the situation, however I feel notarising will increase the credibility of the document.Hello Friends,
I am trying to complete my OINP application these days. I request senior members to please answer my two questions.
- There are many stamps in my passport in Arabic language. Do these have to be translated and notarised?
- Secondly, supporting reference letter on plain paper from my ex- boss has to be notarised or not. My present boss has refused to give me a referenceletter.
I shall feel highly obliged, if I get early experiencedreply as I am trying to complete my application on the earliest possible. Thanks.

IELTS -TRF over Email /Phone
Saw few post on IELTS TRF number shared by BC -Singapore however in India , it seems they dont provide you TRF number over phone or email and ask the candidate to wait for their hard copy report card . Please validate or anyone have a different experience in India
I have already replied on this, just type results.ieltsessentials.com and enter you details on the page to get the results. The TRF is in the bottom left side of the the pop up window, cheersI had taken the test through idp and the date of the result on the certificate is always the same as the online results...
thank you!You will! All the best to you!
Hello,
Long time lurker, posting for the first time. Me and my wife both scored CLB9 in yesterday's ielts result. Got lucky the first time itself. Will be joining the pool as soon as the TRF arrives from bc. My wife would be the primary applicant, with an CRS of 438.
The forum has been a great source of information and encouragement all this time. I hope everyone receives their ITA soon. I would miss the next draw for sure. Won't be getting my TRF by then.
Looking forward to the next day of hope thread. Thanks once again everyone for their valuable information and support.
Cheers!
Hey bud... go to this link "https://results.ieltsessentials.com/" and enter your details, once the results pop-up window appears validate your score and note down the TRF on the bottom left corner of the window. Hope this helps !!
Thanks Lino82.It is clear to me now. As I have understood, since the ex boss is now located in a foreign country, his letter should be notarised by an attorney in that country only that too under oath by way of an affidavit. In my situation, I feel it will be too much to ask ex boss to get it notarised. Please tell me if this supporting letter carry some weight at least without Notarization as it will carry his phone number, email ID, the company he is presently working and his availability to contact him for further information.I haven't faced the situation, however I feel notarising will increase the credibility of the document.
IRCC (CIC) itself asks for many documents to be notarised (like translation of marriage certificate etc) which implies that CIC gives importance & legal validity to a notarised document...(though it is merely the facts again stated under oath & certified by an attorney in another country )...
further, nowhere CIC says that an ex boss's reference letter suffices in place of 'employee reference letter issued by employer' for which CIC specifically lays out the conditions such as what all it should contain...
however we have learned that the next best alternative (what you've collected )is also accepted by CIC and hence, while presenting such a document it is safer to keep it notarised so as to give it more legal credibility in the eyes of the processing officer
I'm convinced of your explanation & genuinity of the reason that you put forward ...I hope the CIC official will feel the same way too....Thanks Lino82.It is clear to me now. Hmm so whats your prediction?the data of 809 and 1082 for CRS ranges respectively for 441-450 and 431-440 respectively is as of June 22, not June 28.
CRS 431-440:
July 6 - 1576
June 22 - 1082
The gap between June 22 and July 6 is 2 weeks, so (1576-1082)/2 = 494/2 = 247 weekly average.
The draw happened on June 28, but the data revealed on that day was as of June 22nd, not June 28th.
Please let me know if any confusion in my explanation.
