Thanks for providing the details but I am little confused now.
someone is saying I am at IP1 while others are saying it as IP2 , my BGC status has been updated again today

Below is the current status:-
- AOR 5th July 2017
- Medical test passed 20 July 2017
- 20 July 2017 BGC :-We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
- 21 July 2017 BGC :- NA

It was IP1 for sure. Now you are in NA2 satge, next step will be IP2.

This is ambiguous information by IRCC, I have the same message in BG check but everyone told me its IP2 and this gentleman is supposed to be IP1
I mean, it has become a game of guessing now, IRCC does not have a specific format for this and I believe mine is also IP1.

Like I said in an earlier post CIC keeps on changing words, words are no criteria, If BGC goes in progress around or before medicals it is IP1. If it s later then that then it is IP2 guys.

It takes 24 hours, sometimes in some cases 5-7 days also. Not 20 , so don't worry.
