Hi. I used the web form to request an extension, but they never confirmed anything. The PCC was sent to IRCC a couple of days after my deadline
https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

Best of luck

VO: Visa office
AOR: Acknowledgment of receipt
NA: Not Applicable?? I am not sure, i've never seen that in my file
IP: Never seen that in my file
PPR: Passport request
:)
Thanks for your reply, I was just wondering about NA and IP as DT13 is having that on one his comments above.

Hello Guys,

Yesterday I finally received the golden e-mail. I am still in shock, I can't believe I finally got it. It will be more real once I get the card.

This is my timeline:

VO: Ottawa
AOR: Feb 08, 2017
Med passed: March 08, 2017
PCC Request: April 20, 2017
Docs sent to Mex: April 21, 2017

Docs sent Ottawa: June 19, 2017
NA: June 22, 2017
IP: June 26, 2017

Thank you so much for your help and good luck, I hope you get the email soon. Please be ready with pictures and a photocopy of your passport (if you hold a Mexican passport you will not need to send the actual passport).

Hi DT13,

One question, what do NA and IP mean?

Hola!!

Saludos!

NA: Not applicable
IP: In progress

Hi guys,

The Police Certificate process has been really long for me.

Police Check Request..........04-04-2017
Fingerprints sent to MX........10-04-2017
Fingerprints received MX......11-04-2017
Fingerprints sent to PGR.......21-04-2017

On 29-05-2017 I wrote to ask for the status of my police certificate, and the day after (30-05-2017) they replied me saying it takes 30-60 working days and on what date they sent my documents to PGR.

On 14-06-2017 I wrote again to ask for the status of my police certificate, and they didn't answer back...

On 16-06-2017 I asked IRCC for an extension just in case they hadn't received it...

So today after seeing that many of you have already received it, I wrote again saying that it's been more than 60 working days (actually it's been around 56 working days counting Mexican and Canadian holidays).

I really hope they have already sent it to IRCC. I will keep you posted.

Wow! I am really surprised. They sent you request to the PGR a full month before mine...
Have you tried calling the embassy? Maybe insisting by telephone could help. What does your myCIC profile say? Mine just changed today to "we do not need additional documents", 8 days after the embassy sent the PCC results to IRCC.

Best of luck and keep us posted!

Hi all,

My partner and I must send fingerprints to the Canadian Consulate in Mexico to receive the Mexican PCC. We are in the United States.

Is it 100% necessary to have a police agency or the Mexican Consulate take the finger prints?
Many OTHER types of agencies can provide us finger prints -- but they aren't associated with the police or consulate.

The police stations in my city (Los Angeles) don't provide fingerprinting services, and the consulate here is quite a mess -- and also confused about how to help us. That's why we want to go to a private agency to have the fingerprints done.

Help?!!

Hi,

I got mine at a private agency in Canada (the police station did not offer ink-based services, only digital). I would recommend that you call the embassy in Mexico City directly to ask them if US-based agency is ok since you have not been able to get the service elsewhere.

Thank you for your wishes, I will call tomorrow if they still don't answer my last email.

MyCIC still says "We need additional documents to process your application. Check your messages below for details." :(

For anyone who's trying to get the Mexican PCC and who lives in Mexico.

1 - E-mail MXICO-IM-RAU@international.gc.ca once you receive a request from IRCC and ask them for a letter addressed to the PGR.
2 - Book an appointment with PGR once you have this letter - the visa office sent me the letter within couple hours.
3 - Bring all the documents stated in the PGR website (passport, birth certificate, photos, etc). They will take the fingerprints there.
4 - You'll get a receipt which says that you'll get the PCC within 10 business days but I got mine in 4.
Hola DelPiero07!

Hi, I'm new to this forum and I've been looking for some advice on this case.

I'm in living in the US and CIC requested the mexican police certificate two days ago. I understand that I have to send my documents to the Embassy of Canada in Mexico and my deadline is Aug 16th according to MyCIC account.

So my questions are:

1) Is there any specific fingerprint form? Or can I use the one they give me in the local police station?

2) MyCIC account now shows an upload button for that Police Certificate (on my document checklist section), when I click there it takes me to a form that has fields like Police Cert number, expiry date and so on. My question would be, once I send my docs to the Embassy, do you know if there is something I need to upload on MyCIC? or just wait even if it's past my deadline?

Hope you guys can help me out.

Thanks!
