Has anyone here recently received NOI? I'm sitting at 402 and I'm thinking about the OINP....

If you have received NOI from Ontario, you should certainly consider that as an option. I've been on this forum for 2 years, and have seen all types of predictions. The only thing I can tell you is that CIC is extremely unpredictable, so the more immigration options you have in your pocket, the better.

Hi guys, I am a little confused and was wondering if you could help me... I have 4+ years of experiences on NOCs 0, A & B. I applied for EE and got an ITA on the last draw under FSW. My primary NOC is 0632, where I have 1,9 years of experience. Now I am hesitant to continue my application as I read that FSW requirements states that I can only claim "in the same type of job as your primary NOC". So does that mean that I cannot use my Internal Experience and, if so, I have given wrongful information and gotten a draw?

Please help me understand! Thanks

Hi Marcus, I already answered your query in the other thread. That particular line in the same type of job as your primary NOC is the eligibility criteria for FSW. You are confused between EE and FSW, that's why. Your CRS points in the EE system is a mix and match of all your NOCs you stated in the work history. FSW minimum work requirement is the one year continuous work experience.

Do you meet the minimum score for the round in which you received ITA? If so you may be good to go ahead, if not is there an NOC that encompasses all of your different work experiences?

Hi,

I read somewhere that application were rejected for fsw because they had selected quebec as their province for interest. Is it true? What if someone selects all provinces option?

Thanks in advance.
I've read so many places that the FSW EE is for all the provinces 'except' Quebec....qubec runs it's own immigration schemes...
so it is no surprise....
but I don't know why they still have Quebec as an optional province if they are not allowing...

see the CIC link below

Huh? Can someone receive an ITA if he/she does not meet the minimum score?

I think this is for the eAPR. Those who have CSQ still need to submit eAPR. Correct me if I am wrong.

Edit (as I have mentioned in the other thread): Yes, you are good to go if the length of your primary NOC is 1.9 years

I should have added the word "still". Meaning, with only 1.9 years experience in the primary NOC, instead of 3 to get full amount of points, is the score high enough to meet the cutoff score for the round ITA was received.
