My AOR date is 27 January, Oinp outland. Haven't rcvd PPR yet. My passport is gonna be expired within next 8 months. If I receive my PPR now is the validity gonna be a problem? How much validity is required for PR visa stamping? And if i have to renew my visa now (it will take 10 days) who and how should i inform the change? I have been waiting for a long time and almost exhausted out of stress. Pls help me.

I believe, you need to have 6 months of validity on your passport at the time of your application. I would wait and let the PPR email come. If you still feel the need, email the CPC Ottawa people.

Hi guys, just received an email from CPCO requesting my passport for visa stamping Cannot tell you all how happy and relieved I am! Interestingly, I did not receive any update notification in MYCIC, just the email. It asks me to fill out an annex (Very simple, just listing those travelling to Canada) and to attach two photos with the passport. They also very clearly outline the size requirement of the photos. Passport will be sent to the LVO. I have 30 days to send it.

It's been a long journey, I was declined in my initial application with AOR in Jan, a lot of you guys on this thread helped me out a lot with re-applying and getting through and it is not an exaggeration to say that I probably wouldn't have gotten through the second time without all your help, so really, thank you all!!!

I am so happy to inform you all that by the GRACE OF ALMIGHTY GOD, i have received by most awaited PPR email today at around 9:30 AM (IST).
The message came to my CIC account which requested both RPRF payment and PPR in the same message.
My latest details are updated in the signature.
I would like to thank all the members of this forum for their help and support from time to time.
Besides, my family and god, you guys have been my big moral support, so big applause for you and thanks a tons.
I wish all you awaiting for responses get your PPR request soon and for all those who received it already wish you speedy process ahead.

Just wanted to mention that, my BG status did not changed and it says still in-progress, so guys don't worry if your BG has not changed as they still continue to work on the background.

Got my second set of GCMS, not much difference from the first set, except that the reason for 'REVIEW REQUIRED' is given.
Its, that 'THE AGENT COULD NOT DO A WEB SEARCH ON MY ORGANISATION'(So they transferred my file to Chandigarh and ND VO two months ago!!). Called my ex boss, he said, the website has been down for 3-4 weeks!!!
What now?!
Should I get in touch with IRCC or let them do their own thing!

hi,

CIC requires passport validity of atleast 6 months. If you decide to renew your passport, you may have to inform them through CSE. You have already mentioned Passport validity dates at the time of filing your application so if they have a question they may raise query request.

You PPR is just around corner don't get stressed out, you may hear good news anytime soon.

Eligibility :- Recommend Passed
Security :- Not Started
Criminality :- Passed
Medical :- Passed

6 months will finish after 16 days.....Can anyone tell me whats going on with my file ??? Your answer will be really appreciated.......Thanks...

I hoe the below answer helps you relax.

First, since you said they transferred your file to NDVO two months back, they could have done all the research by this time. I don't know the date of this note.

Second, you said they spoke to ur ex-boss, they would have got what they wanted, I think.

Finally if they require anything about this, definitely they could have asked for Letter of Explanation from you. There is nothing to worry about this.

Check the date of the note and also check if your bg went IP2.

I am Feb 10th applicant and both Security and Eligibility are not started yet!
