A strange thing happened

Checking my application for the 100 time today

An hour ago the 'additional documents' tab stated that 'the additional documents you submitted are being reviewed'

Now (and the application didn't show 'Updated')

The 'additional document' tab states 'we dont need additional documents'

What's going on please?

Anyone with same experience?

In all the complications of the facts and rumors, we tend to ignore the simple meanings behind the status text. CIC is trying to tell you that, the documents you uploaded were actually uploaded, then when they begin to review the documents, they change to status to "we are reviewing the additional documents" and when they determine the documents are enough for them to make a decision for one or more steps of the process using that document, they update the status to "we don't need additional documents". The additional documents step comes to an end at this stage unless some other analyst needs more information and begins another "additional documents" request from stage 1 of "we need additional documents".

I feel you should keep checking your profile, it might change any moment.
I got a similar CSE email yesterday evening and now I noticed my Application is saying "Updated" instead of submitted.
On checking the application I noticed two changes:
The review of additional documents stated: The additional documents provided has been uploaded, then later changed to "the additional documents provided are being reviewed"
Also,
My BG has been on NA since AOR, has now changed to " We are processing your background check,we will send you a message if ..........."

Looks like you might move straight from IP2 to PPR in the next few days. So cheer up

Sorry, I haven't been checking the forum a lot since I am on vacation and internet is a bit patchy. I still am stuck on NA so I am now officially for the first time worried!! I am on day 96 and on NA for 32 days!!!

Last night I got an acknowledgement mail for my CSE saying that my CSE has been forwarded to the concerned department.

Should I call them? I wasn't really getting worried since I am only on day 96 and I know many cases of PR from UAE between 100 and 120 on the tracker so was thinking of taking it easy but now I feel everyone is on IP2 except me!!

I am also hoping to get PPR after submitting the RCMP report. I just haven't received it yet. lol

Just saw mail. 14 Jul is the date.

Two years long wait is over.

Could you please tell me what message IP1 is? My background check status was N/A after I submitted the application. Now is "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

Am I in IP1 or IP2? Thanks.

If you've passed your Medicals then most probably your are in IP2 stage at present.
There are chances that you missed seeing your ip1 status,as sometimes ip1 to NA changes within hours. So you may have missed it.
