Family lives in MN. Here's what you need https://ribbs.usps.gov/modernservicestandards/ssmaps/find_map.cfmHow do u know u will get on 19th? Shipping takes 4-5 days for 1st class mail.
I submitted my PR application (AOR 6/28) without the FBI PCC. However, I did upload the receipt I got from DHL and the proof of delivery and in addition, I wrote an LOE explaining that I will submit the FBI PCC after I receive it.Cool. I have still 78 days to submit my pr application. I have go my work exp and medical done and pcc from india too. I am planning to wait for atleast 65 days. I might get pcc from fbi. And then submit the pr application and pay the fees.
I hope they wont say that my work exp and medical were of a lot earlier date ...
Or should i apply for pr and explain in LOE about the fbi pcc ??
But i dont have any proof of fbi pcc, just the courier , that too mentions the name of my friend who send the documents to fbi.
Any suggestions ??
I am in the USA in CT. Went to the nearest Police Department, showed my drivers license as ID proof, filled a short form describing why I need the fingerprints, paid the $5 fees for fingerprinting (depends on the police department and state you are in). They had a electronic device where the officer helped me take fingerprints and then printed the card (FD-258). Simple as that. If you are in the USA I suggest you call and go to a nearest police department and use the electornic fingerprinting device. The advantage of this device is, it will make sure your fingerprints are correct. I asked the officer how do I know if the fingerprints are right and not smudged. He showed me by deliberately smudging my fingerprints and the device gives a beep. So this way you are 100% sure the fingerprints are done right.Hi Guys
I am in process of appyin for FBI PCC need to know you guys went with fingerrints by yourself or went to law enforcement office.
Would appeciate a response.

Follow this link and call the nearest police department. The ones in CT usually do it on Wed and thursday - http://www.myfbireport.com/locations/index.phpThanks Sir. I will drive to neareast Police department.
As always the PDs have no idea how the immigration works. So they are surprised by this request of finger prints for normal residents like usI tried it showed that Sheriff office will be able do but when I called they mentioned they will only do it for inmates.
Asked to contact PD. Will try that now.
also Sheriff's office is different from a PD. So yes they are right call the PD and they will help. Just curious where are you located ?I tried it showed that Sheriff office will be able do but when I called they mentioned they will only do it for inmates.

Refer to this post -http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/fbi-us-pcc-which-applications-are-currently-being-processed.396412/page-114#post-6180516Hi all,
I just received my ITA and am looking to get Police Clearance from FBI. I'd like to do the LIVESCAN as it's much faster (electronic finger-printing with an FBI-Channeler) but I'm told the Police Certificate will come in PDF form via email rather than the "original" in paper form.
I see here under "special notes and considerations" that "All police certificates must be originals. Photocopies will not be accepted."
... does that mean that I cannot / should not do LIVESCAN as I will only receive a PDF? Does anyone have any knowledge from knowing others in the forums and what works/what doesnt'?
Thank you!
Hi there - what is the number you call to speak with them?Just an update on the timeline for everyone - FBI application sent on Apr 26th. Received by FBI on Apr 29th. Credit Card charged on the July 12th. I had a change of address form emailed to the FBI so just called them to verify if they have the right address on file. The agent confirmed that the change of address has been made but said the report has not been processed yet and it will be by the end of day today or Monday. They will then mail the report on Tuesday or Wednesday.
