another point you may note is that you feel so upset just being there on a student visa and the generosity of an extended work visa...
...you want to judge the govt on their policies fairness...

as far as I understand the Canadian govt treats everyone impartially....and they look at the underprivileged with more consideration...

and on competency terms having a candian degree or experience do not have much advantage to offer...and that is why the addl points are termed 'adaptability factors'....
anyway it's all a win win...anybody can have their own opinion...so be free to judge the cic logic...but please note that by the same standards,the arguments of those opposing the immigration policy has more ground...the Canadian citizens born and brought up there,some of whom aren't so happy about the outsiders being let in...
