Hello, thanks for sharing this info.
I tried to link application as per instructions but still it says that they couldn't find my application. I received 2 emails from CIC on July 6 with application number. I guess they haven't updated our application properly in system. The issue is in one of the email they are asking to link application to GC account in 7 days (calendar days). if this issue persists i don't kno

Another question, for the column "ECAS Permanent Residence Application Status 'In Process' (mm/dd/yyyy)" Ok so I'm guessing this is the On-line Services. However, the part that I am looking at show this in the boxes:
Sponsored Person xxxxx

Sponsorship Application Status Decision Made

Permanent Residence Application Status In Process

When I click on the In Process, it just has this:

1. We received XXXX application for permanent residence on May 29, 2017.

I have no dates for when it went in process or am I looking for something else?

I found out after 3 tries that the pa has to have received the email before i can link the app to the acct .. the it was fine ..

PA received email with Sub: Enhanced AOR Back Office with Application number. In this email only they asked us to link application within 7 calendar days. I tried 10 times (Lol) to link in 2 days but each time message pops up that they cannot find application.

We received 2 emails on July 6. 1 to PA informing receipt of PR application and another to sponsor (me) informing receipt of sponsorship application. Fingers crossed

Are you using the PA's info or the sponsor's info? Only the PA can link the application online. Once that is done then the sponsor can check the status of the application online too using his/her own UCI number or Application number.

Your message is very confusing. Only the PA links the application with his/her info. Of course, the spouse can also check the status of the application online anytime using his/her own UCI number or Application number, but only the PA can link the application.

Might happen this week coming because of the long weekend. I'm not worried I know it's there as Canada Post informed me of the party who was the receiver. Thanks for the information as I thought we had to wait on an email or paper trail.

No need to wait for the email, try linking it twice or thrice a day. I was just being persistent. Nothing is in there but still I'm just checking everyday

How did you link it? I am June 15th applicant, I always try to link my application but I cannot. I still have no AOR

I just gave all the info they need, and yes I put 2 in the applicant which is suppose to be just 1. Other than that, I entered all the right info. Maybe timing is a factor, I linked it around 2am

Your message is very confusing. Only the PA links the application with his/her info. Of course, the spouse can also check the status of the application online anytime using his/her own UCI number or Application number, but only the PA can link the application.

Maybe that is what the issue was for me. I know in the paper app it asked how many people are in the app I put 2. Maybe to link it I have to add PA, SP and dependents ?

hey,
use this way to link your application:
1. choose application # and Family name
2. Do not fill place of birth and county of birth leave both of them blank not even a space.
3. Fill passport information
4.fill the last part as in your application
5. # of applicants =2
try this, this worked for me.
