Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
My apologies for starting a new thread but I need urgent help with, as this is the only piece holding me back from submitting my application.

Having lived in Singapore for few years, I applied for Singapore PCC, along with my wife (separate application, as per their norms). My application was approved but my wife's was rejected. Reason is that, CIC has issued the invitation with only my name and SPF (Singapore Police Force) required my spouse to have the invitation from CIC with her name too.

I do not know if I can request CIC for an updated invitation with the dependent names included so seeking your help. Please help me

A few possible options:
(A) decline your current ITA, and resubmit your EE profile with your spouse and wait for new ITA;
(B) attach proof that you have attempted to get PCC, submit LOE stating you require revised ITA or letter from IRCC to request PCC; or
(C) contact IRCC before submitting e-APR.

A seems the most straight-forward answer, but depends on your CRS and chances of being drawn again.
B is more of a gamble, but from what I have read on here, IRCC can be forgiving when it comes to getting PCC from countries that have their own rules for such requests.
C is a pretty safe bet, but it can take time for a response and depends on how many days you have left on your current ITA.

Assuming no other contingent factors, I would personally choose A.

Hi, I had the same situation and I submitted my application without wife's Singapore PCC. I also submitted LOE stating I require letter from IRCC to request PCC for my spouse. I received letter under my login after few months which requested for wife's Singapore PCC and an upload link. I processed my wife's PCC and uploaded the document to that link. All is ok now. Do let me know if any more details required. Thanks and all the best.

Thank you for the response Picklee.

I indeed included my spouse in the EE profile and claimed points against her education and language proficiency. So, option A would add nothing I believe. I'm inclined to go with option B but would like to hear from others for any better alternatives. If I chose to contact IRCC, how do I do that?

Thank you so much Shri. I guess this might have delayed your overall process but as long as it worked, I'm willing to do the same.

@Shri_Canada, sent you a PM. Please check.

@Picklee, thank you for prompt response.

Guys,

I received my ITA on May 4. So technically I have time till August 4th to submit all my documents. In case of Singapore PCC, I'll need a letter from CIC stating that a PCC is mandatory.

So I wanted to know if I can submit the PCC after 90 days or do I have to complete all the process of getting a letter, getting the PCC and only then apply all within this 90 day window?

Hi,
when submitting your PR application, you will have to upload in the PCC section a document that states: “I am applying from a country that requires an official request letter from IRCC to get a police certificate.”
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/singapore.asp

Then few days or weeks after your AOR, CIC will send you the requested official letter stating that you need to submit a PCC from Singapore.

pls note, that the timeline for the whole process itself and get the Singapore PCC can take few weeks (that you will have to add to your post AOR "waiting" time) ... so I would advise to not wait your deadline to submit your PR applicaiton (unless you are not in a hurry ...)

I hope this helps
Good luck

Can you please advise if the Singapore COC/ PCC mentions any period of stay or residential address of the applicant?

Thanks

Yes it stated the period of stay only and no residential address details. From first date of entry to till date.

Do they take the period of stay from the appeal that we fill ip or they check their own records? I have made an error in my entry date and hence want to know if they check the entry date from their own records. Thanks

Hi guys, I need to send fingerprinting to Singapore police force for issuance of Singapore PCC. Can I get fingerprinting done from Singapore high commission in New Delhi? Any experiences?

They will check their system for correct dates, but if you feel that dates mentioned are wrong, you can always ask them to get it replaced either via phone or email. Better if you are here in Singapore, then the process is easy as you can visit and explain them the situation.

Thanks. Does Singapore PCC have any validity / expiry date mentioned?
