Got you.. I thought "Next Step is to conduct background check" is some sort of message everyone is seeing.

For US residents, this is the pattern..next step is to background check.. background check in progress few days before ppr.. and ppr..

If rejection happens, it'll happen in next step is to conduct background check stage. Since it doesn't go back to NA, US residents could never know their R10 has been completed or not.

Do they have a different timeline for US residents? I feel our applications are not moving in the same pace as other FSW-O candidates. Also how long does it take to go from IP1 to IP2?

I am US resident as well. My medicals passed on June 23rd and since that day, my background check says "we are processing your background check and will send you a message if we need more information." Mine never said anything about sending me a message when they start a background check. No changes since June 23rd.

Hi guys......All my dreams are shattered as they have rejected my file which i came to know after i called cic and after waiting for 45 mins on call
The agent told me that they sent me rejection mail on 21st of june and the reason of rejection was that spouse passport was missing.I never received any mail or status to upload any document .Rather till now my agent is not telling us that our file has been rejected .I applied my application from so called experienced and reputed indian immigration consultant whom i provided with every minute detail for making my case a success and payed him 100k
But never expected such a non serious negligence on there part.They ruined our dreams and brought us to the point where we started from, not only making us suffer financially but mentally too.
And the worst part is my WES was expiring in june but my aor was 27 th april so now if i think once to start again i have to wait for WES ECA report at first place and then wait for ITA to be issued
Can you please guide that how long is it taking to get WES done at current time if anybody has an idea.

I wish u all luck and hope that i will be able to join u guys in canda by trying again

This is really sad. Just so you know 'delay is not denial'. You'll surely get your PPR. About WES, if they need to verify your degree, it would take more time. But don't worry you'll be fine, just take your time. I'll also advice you handle it yourself this time around as the process is pretty straight forward. May I know your CRS score?

i called them in the call centre contact# 18882422100, spoke with an agent, and she confirmed my application was approved on June 26, 2017 and wished me congrats over the phone!

Yeah this is very irregular. I have been listening to various Messages for BG. Unsure what is to what. . @DEEPCUR @KiranK any idea?

I wonder if the messages mean the same thing even though they don't appear on the surface to mean the same thing? Or did I just get lucky and get my background started faster? Hmmm...i need a double double and some poutine!

Okay.. Honestly I don't understand this speculations with background! Everyone says different thing !

But background in progress is definitely good sign and it does indicate that your application is moving faster. You may get ppr soon too

I have the same status with. No update since May 13 . My AOR is April 23 . I am freaky worried

Hi, plz keep updating guys. I think 3 of us have the same officer. I got my GCMS note. It said that all the test was sent for review on May 5 (eli, secu, crim). They are checking part of R.10 (only education, job still left) and its nearly done (that was up to June 12)...Hope they are still moving after that.

Same here, AOR on April 19, Med pass on May 6, its been 2 month my bg status shows as 'we are processing your background checking...' Hope we all can get PPR soon!!!

Bro I am in a similar situation my AOR is 24th April passed medical 18th May don't know when the bgc changed to na but it's been that for a long time don't know when I will get the request for landing fees and the ppr quoted worried now ?

Hey Guys, just an update. Background Check went to Not Applicable today!
