Thanks for your reply.Spend 20 minutes on this forum and do a search and you will realize that ALL consultants are scum. Don't waste your time and money and make some else handle your case which can easily be done yourself. If you are educated, can read and write, you can do it yourself. Just read up all the treads especially the STICKY thread on the top of the forum pages and within one week, you will know more than any consultant. Its not just a waste of money, it is also a liability to have a consultant since they are rarely on top of things like you will be if you do on your own. Good luck.
Also read through the CIC page - The official Canadian Immigration website. The whole immigration application is designed to be done by the applicant themselves.
Read this. Its a good start. Or you can spend 15,000 AED and get this same info which is below from a consultant!Hi,

Unless you have a complicated case, I would say you do not need a consultant or lawyer to obtain a Canadian PR via the EE route. I have filed my application through a lawyer and I can safely put that in the list of Top 5 mistakes of my life. And, when I say that, I don't just regret squandering all that hard earned money but more so the helplessness that one experiences by not having complete control of things which can make or break your life, is sometimes simply unbearable. You have to understand that for the consultant you are just one client out of the hundreds that they may be representing at any given moment, however, for you it is a life changing decision.Hi,

You've hit the nail on the head. Believe me, if the consultants revealed the mammoth importance of IELTS to their clients, they would lose at least 80 percent of their clients instantly. You only come to realize this after the consultants have already coaxed you into paying half of their total amount dueI agree with all the above statements...please dont go with a lawyer/ consultant unless it is a very complicated case. We made the unfortunate mistake of applying through a consultant and honestly they are horrible and slow at everything, they themselves dont know all the information, and they will give you half information to start off the filing, for eg. my consultant never told us that getting higher ielts score will boost our score, it is something i figured through this forum. I wish i had found the forum before starting the process with them..everyone here is soo helpful!!
