I'm watching many people worried about settlement funds.
Yes, you have to show six months worth of balances, but your FINAL balance must match at least the minimum amount required, not the entire period. However, the six month statements are required exactly to know if there's any usual movement to the applicant's account. If you amassed those funds during this period, it is highly recommended that you attach any documents proving the source of the money - car sale document, real estate document, gift deed or any other transaction document that proves the source of the funds. Remember that everything that isn't in english or French must have a certified translation attached.
When I visited the OINP portal, the HCP option was available for registration. They're probably closing and opening periodically to avoid an overload.
Thanks for this info and i beleive its authentic... And if yes then you just solved a huge prob for me as well
From what you wrote this is what i understand
As i already posted i have a current account where i have transactions of my salary and i have required lico funds in cash and that too will be a gift from spouse.
What i need to do is that take gift from spouse and submit the amount right away in my account ... Ask for last 6 months statement from bank and for 5 months i will have simple salary transactions and recent transaction of lico required funds.hence the closing balnce of required funds.
In addition to it i will attach a gift deed from my spouse that now this money belongs to me.
Now do i need to show any other proof like my wife's gift deed that she got money from her
Or do we need to show sale deed of property of her mother that she sold to give her money?
Pls help as you have already cleared a big ambiguity in my mind regarding funds.
Looking forward to hear from you
