+1(514) 937-9445 or Toll-free (Canada & US) +1 (888) 947-9445
Last week I called 613 944 4000 many times and they just say due to high volume of calls they cant connect to an agent.

So, I had my friend call 1-888-242-2100 from Canada and I told him to select option 7 for express entry. The wait time was 25 min so he conferenced(joined) me in the call after 20 mins and I spoke to an agent after 5-7 mins.

Thanks for this super tip! I am going to do the same thing today evening. Once you get through...Are they friendly and willing to answer all questions? I would want to know from them the status of my CSE, if I passed eligibility and which office my application is currently!

I was also taking help of a consultant initially since I didn't know much about Canadian immigration and did not want to risk missing any documents. But as I went through the process I realized that it's a piece of cake and they were doing nothing but just uploading the documents provided by me in my profile. So I decided to continue the journey by myself and I dumped them. Fortunately the fees was split into instalments and I only paid a small amount until I got ITA. Also they had shared my profile login credentials with me. So I was not totally dependent on them. Anyways, I hope your application gets through soon so you don't have to deal with any stupid consultants again.

The biggest scam artists are these guys. They have a new website now.

http://oopnpconsultants.com/

The Toronto address given in the website is apparently fake. It doesn't exist. They take your money and run. There are so many people on this forum duped by them. They used to give fake news about IRCC and cut offs etc and used to take content from this forum. Many gullible people believed them and even parted with their money. They sound like they are operating from Canada but they are in some undisclosed off shore location!

I can assure you that 99% of the so called consultants are not competent or absolutely not necessary. If you really must need help, I would go to an Immigration lawyer and not a consultant. There is a difference. It's the lawyers who can help if you have a complicated case. Consultants are ALL Useless!
I absolutely second with @johnsyk over here. Well said.

May people have caught up very quick. Their applications are at par with April people now. It was very visionary of @johnsyk to put April and May AORs together in a thread.:D

Brilliant progress indeed @gurik. Did you have any sort of travel history? If yes, could you please specify how many countries or travels, thanks.

Just a quick question!
How long does the IP1 stage take? kinda starting to worry a bit.

I didnt mean criminality i mean at what stage do they declare if the pcc provided are accepted or not???

Good question.

Ideally its checked at R10 and the persons application cancelled due to no PCC.

HOWEVER,. recently we had someone who probably passed his R10 check but on Day 75 or so get rejected coz when they added up his travel history, he had multiple tourist/business visits to some place which added up to more than 6 months and hence he was rejected based on the fact that he did not have the required PCC.

My situation is different i used to visit a country by car for a long time but in total slightly less than 6 months then later on i moved and resided in the same country, when i applied for pcc it only covered the period since i became a resident since they cant provide pcc for visitors,i rarely stayed over and i explained in details for cic in loe and later in another cse, this is my main worry but again i cannot do anything about it
