OMG! then he better decline
Thanks Jack and Gavin for the quick responses!!
Jack, I received ITA on 28th June.
My IELTS is expiring in Jan 2018 only and my Birthday is in Feb. So there is nothing that can really alter my score or make me ineligible for EE in near future. With this info, If I decline now, do you see any reason why I wont be getting ITA in next draw? Just trying to make sure nothing goes wrong. My brain tells that it is ok to decline and my heart refuses to decline , as we were all waiting desperately for ITA for such a long time :) Thanks again.

My CRS score is 387 with NOC 2173. I re-created my profile yesterday and I got Ontario NOI last night. Feeling really excited. But still need to arrange for PoF.
Also, I applied for IELTS re-evaluation 2 weeks ago for the score I used in my EE profile, will it cause any issues ?(I missed CLB 9 from 0.5 in speaking). Is it wise to wait for the re-evaluation to apply for OINP ?
I intend to live in Toronto anyways, so I don't mind intent of living. I just want the PR to happen ASAP, and not want do another IELTS for CLB 9 (did 3 times already).
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks
Man we already replied to ur query, u dont have to wait for re-evaluation since u received ur NOI based on the IELTS score u mentioned in the profile

Hello Everyone,
Please accept my apology , if this question does not belong here. I chose to post in this thread as this is a happening thread and I can get quick response:
Suggestion needed. I have received ITA from the recent draw. I have OINP nomination. I have to get PCC from FBI. They received my package only on 27th June. Based on the current trends of their(FBI) response, looks like they will take 8/9 weeks just to open my package. I am just thinking of declining the ITA. Assuming that I will get another ITA in the next draw which is likely happen in 10 - 15 days(Max) from the last draw, Declining will buy a week or two for me and increases my chances of getting the FBI clearance well within the deadline to submit. Is it ok to decline now? Is there any other downside of declining ITA that I am overlooking? Please suggest. Thanks a lot Friends!! BTW, with pnp my CRS 1004.
Where are you located?

If ur score is comfortably place above 400 then there is no issue, looking at ur OP i see that u r at 404? May take 3-4 draws for the score to reach there mate

Sorry my bad, I didn't see the reply cuz I was logged out and the thread jumped quite much. My bad.
And many thanks for the reply. I've decided to take the OINP road to PR, unless my IELTS re-evaluation comes back with a higher score :)
I'll prepare my documents and I think it'll take as much time as the the IELTS re-evaluation.
Just to confirm, the NOI is valid for 6 months right ?

Many thanks.

As per my calculations the next CRS score will be as follow (Assuming Draw on 5th July 2017):

3,400 ITA's = 435 +/- 2
3,600 ITA's = 433 +/- 2
3,800 ITA's = 431 +/- 2

If CIC decides to have a back to back draws in July then anyone above 420 will be cleared out in the next 2 Draws. After that Scores will decline by 6/7 Score per Draw.

Assuming there will be 16 more draws this year with remaining ITA's to be issued being 54,249 the standard Size of ITA's issued will be 3,391.

Expected Draw dates

5th July = 435 +/- 2
12th July = 421 +/- 2
26th July = 415 +/- 2

Just my predictions that will change with every draw. Good Luck!
I like how dedicated you are andI like your detail explanations but I have to say you are very pessimistic in your predictions. You haven't taken into account declining rate which is around 40% and I also don't understand why you think it will go below to only 425 in the next draw, I don't think there will be so many entrants with high scores and as we speak there are only around 1,000 per range. I believe if we have back to back draws, till end of July scores will drop to near 400.

Guys just a thought and don't take it in a negative way. This is my theory only.

Yes from past few draws and changes we can conclude that CIC is unpredictable. CIC is doing all possible to avoid going 400 points and below, hence they are implementing new rules to alter the CRS points calculation and to increase its cutoff. I think now they are sending nominations or letter of interests to candidates with points as low as 370, to increase their points and keep the cutoff points high. Well only time will tell and my theory may be wrong. But wait for next 3-4 draws and see, else best will be to take nominations and apply.

All the best guys!!
I agree that they are avoiding to drop it to 400 for as long as they can but it's unavoidable if they want to meet their qouta! It will happen for sure! Soon!

i totally agree with andiangel CRS would definitely go down between 405 to 410 by the end of july, if they will have 3 draws in a month and keep sending ITAs around 3500

I am in total agreement. Some folks here are playing with the EE system, taking and declining ITAs time after time. Wasting resources and complaining how CIC functions.

If one really wants to go to Canada at all cost, he/she would take the first chance he/she were given. Instead of whining and complaining about CAD$1500 and time and whatever trivial crap that seems to be a huge problem in his/her eyes.
You are really judgmental, aren't you?

As per OINP, they are now issuing NOI to specific occupation (Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector) even if the score is below 400.
Do you guys think one with NOC 2281, should re-create the profile? (Current CRS 403)

Also, I know as per CIC, old profiles are getting more weightage.

Depending upon the draw - think it will be 2 weeks this time - It should come down by 10 or so points atleast - so somewhere in the region of 430-435. I also agree that CIC would like to keep it above 400 for as long as possible and delay draws, till it is unavoidable. So hang in there guys!

I have taken 40% declining rate and there are many applicants below 420 range so score will not decline with huge margins. However, in August scores can get down below 410 for the first time.
