Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Finally the long wait is over!
I am a silent reader dito at binasa ko talaga tong forum na to mula page 1 up to now! Seryoso ako! Hindi na need ng agency andito na lahat ng sagot. Maging matiyaga lang hehe!
Salamat din po kay kapatid sa pag tingin ng SOP ko at sa pagsabi na 85% sure makakapasa ako. Hehe!

Here's my timeline:
April 27 Upfront Medical (St Lukes)
May 3 Transmitted to IRCC/Medical Forward
May 20 Lodging of Application
May 21 Confirmation of Submission
May 22 ghost email/update
May 25 ghost email/update
June 2 Medical Passed
June 15 update of Review of eligibility from your application is in progress to we are reviewing your eligibility
June 23 Passport Request/Visa approved

Profile:
*2 yrs course in Okanagan College pero different course somehow related sa course mo. I am a registered nurse here in PH. And therapy assistang ang kukunin ko.
* hindi rin ako nagpasa ng itr,sss,bank statement-pero mas ok magpasa kayo pang strong ng ties
* andito sa pinas lahat ng family ko at wala kaming business permit na pinasa. Solely family lang talaga ties ko
*cousin ko ang nag support sa akin sa accomodation ko and nagpasa kami affidavit,tenancy agreement and id's

PIECE OF ADVICE:
Make your SOP strong and convincing. Declare everything. Lahat ng works activities niyo. Feeling ko sa SOP lang tlga sila tumitingin not sure of it. Make sure na ilalagay niyo na uuwi kayo after finishing your studies. Isipin niyo si Lord kausap niyo sa pag gawa ng SOP niyo. Isipin niyo you are praying for that one thing and gusto niyo makuha.

ay ganun ba? kapag wala ka ielts di ka makapagsubmit online? pero importante naman umuusad ang application.. wait and pray na lng tayo.

Everyone who booked flight kay pal, i have layover in vancouver before heading to toronto. Its a mere two hour stop. Ask ko lang if dadaan pa rin ba ako sa immigration? And san ko kukunin yung student permit? Sa toronto or vancouver?

Also, what are the specific documents needed? Cant seem to find a comprehensive list on this. Moreover, do we need a guarantee letterr of some sort from yung host na titirahan? Kasi balak ko dun na ako maghahanap eh

I dont know if two hours is enough to get your student permit.
Student permit will be given at the port-of-entry mo sa Canada.
It seems that Vancouver will be your port of entry.
Depende sa dami ng student na nakapila so good luck! If ever marerebook naman siguro sa next flight yan.
I do suggest to have an enough time to get your permit. Some says it took only few minutes pero depende pa rin talaga sa pila. Maybe an extra 2 hrs is enough.
Remember unless you have your student permit mapapauwi ka pa.

as per my aunt's previous visa filing, notarization will be enough. question lang po. what if online application, ino notarize din ba mga docs na ganito? and if docs are from abroad like letter of support or proof of accomodation, ok lng ba dito inotarize sa pinas?

Hello po, as per sa nabasa ko lang po dito ang notarization po pag galing sa abroad ang letter of support is doon then po e notatarize yon sir. Hope this helps hehe
