Question please.

My wife and I are due to apply this July.

Is It okay if my wife and I send in our applications separately? I know people send in as family, but we could send in separately if we want right?

Thanks.

Correct, you can submit separate applications if you want to.

If you are just taking a normal vacation you don't have to inform CIC of any travel plans. If you want to take a week to trip to Europe or the US or wherever, it's perfectly fine.

Hi, It is a normal 2 weeks vacation for me and 2.5 weeks for my husband in july. I am waiting for test invite. That is why I want to inform them.

Quick question again pls.

How does one complete the "Work and Education" form on question "6H", without unknowingly creating a gap in the employment history? I have had uninterrupted FULL TIME jobs since becoming PR. I have also had two PART TIME Jobs in-between. Entering the Full time jobs, my form on ( Q6H) looks good, but I can't seem to figure how to record my part time work on it.
Please help.
Thanks

On CIC's website, it says the below:

While we process your application, only contact us if you:

  • change your address
  • are charged with a crime
  • plan to leave Canada for more than two weeks in a row

They only say that because there is a very small chance you could receive the test invite and have your test during that window. There is no requirement to notify CIC of your plans to travel though.

Same here. Mailed my son's application today.

I will apply mine in April or May.

Can't seem to find how to update my timeline on my signature.
Hi I am preparing to apply mine and my family. I have two kids of 13 & 6 years. What ID do I use for them (two identification )? Any suggestion please.

Any applicants in March from Misissauga Office got Test invite??

Not according to the spreadsheet. There are still plenty of Jan/Feb applicants waiting. It's a small sample size, but we're probably looking at another couple of months before a test invite appears for Marchers.
