My Security started after 3 months and 10 days from the date I applied. Since they received lots of applications, it delayed. According to current processing time, your security should be start by Mid /end of July or first half of August. After that, it will depend upon your profile how long your security will take. You can order GCMS notes now in order to know what's going on right now.

I sent mine on the 15th. It hasnt been stamped yet. I'm expecting sometime today/tomorrow

My PP reached to Ottawa on June 12th. Stamped on June 16th. Dispatched on June 20th. Its reached to my city today morning and expecting delivery today or tomorrow.

Why some cases took more time than others. I think I am in the same boat. I applied on 17 Feb 2016 and still background check in progress.

I'm beyond depressed... I'm wondering why Feb and Mar applicant are getting PPR and Jan Applicant are still waiting? that's illogical...

Today, I called to IRCC call center and asked about my app status. They said your application is very close like one month more to go. Exactly one month ago I called them, they said same thing your application is in final stage took one month more.

Feb 11 here, background/security still NA. Cic asked for my renewed passport copy last may 4 and thats it no more update since then... everyday is a torture for me!!
