I've never heard of this Tuesday rule. I seem to get all communications on Friday.

My husband's file got transfer to LVO on June 16 and in ECS we noticed another line that "we started processing your app on June 19, 2017". Any ideas how long they take to start background check?

I sponsored my wife from India no dependants and I am Canadian citizen. My file was received on march24 and sponsor approval on April6 2017, medical was done on April 24 and updated on ecas that medical was received in april31. I got no updates after that. PR application is showing received in ecas. I am so stressed as it has been couple of months and no confirmation of file transfer to New Delhi. Please let me know what should I do at this point?
