No, not at all. Post-ITA you will mention it in the personal history section.

A large number of people have done this, including myself.

All the best
Thanks for your response.

One more query, ECA certificate received for my spouse doesn't include her middle name even though we had mentioned on the application form.

Doea IQAS prints an individual's middle name on the certificate or not?

I have a question +

I am a project manger and joined the current company as QA lead 5 years back. Before that I was a senior software engineer in another company.

I was promoted to PM some 4 years back. What should I fill in EE profile which says the date when you were eligible for current position.
Hi,

If your selected NOC say Bachelors then enter your graduation date.
Alternatively, just put the day you got promoted.

All the best

I dont know about IQAS but don't worry about this. The middle name doesn't matter in this situation.

Yes, it shouldn't matter but I raise this query because this would reflect a difference in the name printed on her passport. Will this be an issue?

hello experts!

Small query regarding POF. i received a gift from my parents but this was after I received my ITA. Would the fact that i disclosed I have sufficient funds to meet the minimum threshold on the EE application before receiving the ITA count as misrepresentation? Anyone who has got a gift deed done after receiving an ITA??

Hi,

I have not received a gift deed but my take is that this is not misrepresentation at all. We are required to show that we have fund at the time of submitting the PR application not at the time of ITA. So as long as you have funds when you submit you are good to go.

hi everyone,
I am newcomer, bot 368 points on my profile, some says I will not stand a chance with that low point. Not sure if it is correct ?
I also had a look at state's PNP, however, most of them require connection (e.g. used to work / have a friend / relative there), otherwise I cannot submit my profile. Is there any state that has an exception ?
Looking forward for your advice

Hi and welcome,

Unfortunately, 368 is rather low, so at the moment it wont be good enough. What is you IELTS score? This may be your only way to improve. Ontario doesn't need any connections but you need a score above 400 at the moment.

Regards

Hi Tanaka;
Thanks for your quick response.
My IELTS score 7.0. Any indicator of the ideal IELTS that I must have to achieve 400 ?
And besides IELTS, any other way to improve the score ?
Many thanks in advance.

For you to get maximum points you need to score at least L8 S7 R7 W7. Achieving this can increase your score by as much as 40-75 points.
Other ways to increase your score are improving education, gaining more work experience or a valid Canadian job offer. These are time consuming so IELTS is you best bet.
Give yourself a month or 2 to prepare then re-write.

All the best

Hi seniors,
This is my first post on this forum.
I have completed my Express entry profile and have the following score:
CRS - 420 (As of now waiting for my wife's IELTS TRF - that will increase the score to 430)

With the above score I am hopeful of an Invite.

I have collected the document requirements and will try and get the necessary documents when i receive ITA.

My main concern is the Job Experience letter. I have the following questions:
1. Is it necessary to get signature from HR? (getting one from HR will be next to impossible and may impact my appraisal too :p)
2. Can I get one of my colleagues ( one post higher but I don't report directly to him) to sign the letter as manager? (I will document only the authentic roles and responsibilities)

Based on your replies I will plan for the Experience letter

1 - HR or your supervisor/manager.
2 - Well that'd be misrepresentation if he's not your manager correct? If you want to get a letter from a colleague get it in plain paper and notarize it, ideally have proof (e-mails) that your HR refused to provide this letter.

Hello House,

As you know after receiving the invitation in one of the sections in the EE portal it asks which province are you willing to live. I have to move to another province due to a job opportunity, and I do not have any provincial nominee restriction, would it be ok if I send them an update about this? to me everything is reasonable regarding this.

Let me know if I am wrong

All the best

You don't have to update them.

Just don't move to Quebec.
