PNP - PR - Jan-Feb-March 2016 Applicants

March Applicant here,
File received March 17, 2016,\
Med Req and passed- Apr 4 & Apr 12, 2017,
But BG still says Not Applicable.

Any idea guys, when should something changes in there. Its almost 15 months now.
I guess still early March applicants are waiting for BG check in progress. I am Feb end applicant and I got changed in end of May. You can expect by end of month or soon.

Hey Man. I can feel that pain. But if you got your PPR and cross the border, you can still fly for one time. I know with PR card its more safe but you can visit the below link and apply for it. I hope this will helpful to you.

Living in Windsor , Ontario

Working for past 2.5 years . Traveled to India 2 times after i came to Canada

I have few doubts which could delay my application .

1) I went to Iceland last October for 10 days vacation , I got Speeding Ticket there .
2) I applied Visitor Visa for my Fiancee in March , Which was approved
3) Since i live in Windsor I cross US border many times
4) Once I stayed in states for 4 months for work reason !! i was paid in Canada While I was in States .

nothing Else complicate in my case !! lol

I am also Jan 11th applicant. In our both cases, we went to USA too many times.
IRCC moved my file forward on same day only when my MP called them 2nd time. I think your file also will be finalised when your MP calls 2nd time.

Jan 12th, 2016 is still waiting without DM/PPR yet. I checked my account this morning, it is still showing BGC in processing like last week.... I am gonna to contact the MP 2nd time after I receive my GCMS note next week.

Stay positive dude. I'm March 4 applicant and background check is still N/A in my cic account. I guess they will start doing something next week.

There is no status called as Security In process. So Security check is already started, just they dont show up on GCMS notes. So once security is complete. Status will changes from Not Started to Complete.

Dont worry about Security Status.Sometimes they update information at the time of Decision Made even they completed the security.My friend's GCMS showed Security Not started on may 30th, but he got decision made today.

March 16 my application was received, background is still N/A.

Whoever said semi drivers get a 6 month delay for crossing US border a lot due to CBSA checks, how exactly did you find out that's what caused the delay given that CIC share nothing whatsoever about the process? Since I applied last year I will have crossed the US border over 100 times so that'd mean my PR would take until December given what you said but I know that's not true as another semi driver got his within the normal time frame doing the same job.

On the cic website, they just put on a notice to clarify the issue you mentioned.

"You may see an incorrect application status asking for additional documents. If you actually need to send any documents, you will see a message in your account and a letter explaining what you need to do."

Basically if you don't see a letter coming together with status change, it is a system mistake from my understanding.
