They are requesting:
1. PASSPORT
2.Updated Police Report from Home Country.Updated PC
3. New Application Form Generic Application Form and Background Declaration and Additional Family information form
4. updated Medical
5. .Recent Photograph.

I am very excited again, because I was thinking I wouldn't hear anything back in 4-5 months.

Just to let you all know about my experience with the POS VO and getting my COPR - took about 12 working days from sending it in to getting it back in hand. They were pretty good! Hats off to them!

Anyone know how long "Review of eligibility" normally takes?

It takes a few months. My application was submitted in October and still shows review of eligibility. Even tho I received a request for passport on May 28. I hope this sort of answer your question.

Thanks so much, you're such a darling. We have until July 31, 2017 to submit everything. We are currently working on getting all the forms refill, and medical along with the updated police clearance. And I feel like we wouldnt be submitting it anytime soon, because i have the original Birth Certificate for my husband so I have to mail that to him to get the police clearance...Everything we do takes extra energy or calls for extra attention..

So my husband contacted the panel of physician to conducted his medical, however, they said they cannot do it because the passport number is different from the one listed on the form. You see CIC requires the passport to have one year life when you are sending it in to them. Hence, my husband renewed his. We advised the panel of physician regarding same, however they advise if they proceed to do the medical and CIC rejects if because of the different passport number we would have to pay "again" for a new medical. Their office was kind enough to tell us double check with CIC before booking the appointment.

I e-mail CIC last night with a copy of the updated passport and asked if the IME number provided previously would change and if we need a new form to take to the doctor office to have the updated medical completed.

CIC Responded this morning advising that the IME number does not change, however, when he goes to see the doctor he needs to take the updated passport.

I thought I should share this information.

Yes I have noticed that too. I heard from POS last week they asked for the Schedule A for the millionth time. We sent one to include May which they requested and now they want another one to cover from May to June 6th. Sigh* almost 4 months since we sent in the passport

That's because they are dragging their legs, hence, they need to keep track of if your husband remains employed with the current company or his current situation I guess, whether it is unemployed, employed, student, etc.

Thanks for sharing this. I will have my husband submit his contract along with his schedule A which will show that he will not be going anywhere until he is gets his paper works completed for Canada.

It is such a pain, they already have your husband passport, they should just issue the visa and quit with the request for updated schedule A since that is so petty.
