I have received my PNP certificate, but may I also apply for Express Entry as well? Which one would be a lot faster? How long it usually takes to finalize the permanent residency and get PR card? Should I stick to PNP and send all paper documents or apply for the EE? Thanks

I am Feb 1st week PNP Inland applicant, BG"Your application is in progress, We will send you a message when we start your background check" - Looks like the BG did not start on my application...Anyone else in the same situation in and around Feb 1st week applicants.

Ok, Thank you. But can you tell me what does my BG status mean - NA or IP1. Because I'vent seen this status on anyones application.

Its neither NA nor IP...

It is NS... We would call AIP...

Meaning application is in process and the BackGround Check has not started yet!

Is this normal, because i see that most of the applicants have Inprogress or NA. I'm just a little worried because after 4.5months BG is still not started.

BOWP Just got approved, now waiting for PPR.

Online status for BOWP says application is approved, check messages for details. But there are no messages. Anybody knows when can I expect the permit in mail ? (document # is issued in status window). Thanks guys.
