AOR: Mar 16th
Med passed: 12th May
NBG: 13th May
NA: Since 25th May
Awaiting IP2 and PPR

My file has been transferred to LVO - NDVO on 9th June 2017 (Currently at NA stage), when I spoke to a call center agent a week back she said my eligibility for PR is cleared pending security clearance, I also received an email for my query that my initial eligibility is met, when I spoke to an agent yesterday he mentioned that my eligibility and security is pending (Guess my initial eligibility by an agent appears met pending final review of the officer)

My doubt is that now the file is moved to LVO, is it a positive sign towards a PPR, how many days approximately people get PPR request post transfer to LVO and what is the significance of LVO (Would they conduct further eligibility check and other processes apart from verifying the notes already made by CPC and CIO)

Thanks. I tried calling them multiple times but operators are always busy and they disconnect my call.

It is difficult to catch hold of them. Wait time is usually 30 mins. Try calling at different hours, you may get lucky.

Does it mean that IP1 - application is with CIC & IP2, it's with CPC?

Usually it happens like this
CIC - intake office ( Nova Scotia)
CPC - usually Ottawa
LVO - usually the office closer to your location

IP1 - most of the cases CIC
IP2 - it can be at LVO or CPC ( depends if the file at all moved to LVO)

I am in the same situation. My medical passed on April 7. A CEC inland applicant with AOR on March 3. Since then nothing changed. BG is NA since April 7. Not even changed to IP1 or NS. I called CEC and enquired about my file status. He said My file is in Ottawa Office. Agent told me that my criminality is passed and the security check is not started yet. Does this mean I am in IP2?

No, you'll only be in IP2 after your security check has been cleared - this happens when all your checks have been completed and everything gets forwarded to a VO for final decision. Have you passed eligibility do you know?

Yes it is the last step. Do you know if your eligibility has passed? It could be they are still reviewing your eligibility - your security check will only be initiated after the case analyst's done reviewing all your docs and recommends a pass on eligibility.
Security is checked against a few databases to detect any association with terrorism and what not. Legalfalcon had a very detailed post explaining the application process and what's being checked in each step. I don't have the link but should be pretty easy to find.

Are you sure that your file is in LVO? Now the trend is that for FSWO the file gets finalized in Ottawa in almost all cases. If agents are not sure about something that you have mentioned in the application they may send the file to local VO for verification. I know few cases where their employers were called. Just a blind guess and CIC is always unpredictable.

I had my initial eligibility passed and also the agent mentioned that all my eligibility is satisfied pending security clearance do not sure what to believe
