Letter of Explanation Sample

I have gone through few LOE threads and did not find any sample letter. I just want make sure I will follow the proved sample letter. I would be grateful to you guys if someone share sample letter of explanation which covers any of the following.

- Canadian child part of the application
- Employement reference letter issue
- Spouse Last name change after marriage

it is very case specific. for mine I listed the points I want to talk about and then elaborated each point and attached the supporting documents under each point then consolidated them all in one pdf (less than 4 mb) and voila! uploaded

I preferred to itemize the LOE and organize it by sections corresponding to the sections in the application with bullet points. My LOE looked something like this:

March 30, 2017

To whom it may concern:

Some items of our application may require explanation, which are organized by section below.

Study -

• Some points about extending study permit
• Clarifying miscellaneous things that aren't immediately apparent or clear

Passports and visas -

• Child was born in Canada, birth certificate and passport attached
• Spouse name change evidenced by current and expired passport, and old study permit

Personal and work history -

• Some points about work contracts
• Clarifying personal history timeline

I'm a masters student at UBC and completed my Masters this August, 2017. I want to apply for post graduate work permit for which I need to write letter of explanation.
