I received my PPR in mid may. I submitted my passports and received it last week. Now I have an error in COPR. The country of issue is UAE whereas it should be India (place of issue is Dubai). So how can this be changed? I have emailed the LVO but there is no response.
Please advise me what can be done at this stage. I have booked my tickets for last week July.

My would it have to be India? Maybe your passport was sent to Dubai and the Canadian Consulate there printed your Visa. I am not understanding why this would be a problem.

Country of issue of passport is mentioned as UAE. But it has to be India as we are citizens of India not UAE. All the passports of our family were issued in dubai. And this mistake is there only on one of kids COPR.

Again, maybe I am missing something. My wife is Indian and her Indian passport says "Place of Issue: Dubai". When she got her COPR, it said "Place of Issue: London". Am I missing something? It doesn't really matter where the COPR was issued as long as it is valid.

Place of issue is Dubai in passport. But in COPR we have Country of issue and that should be India.

Also, according to this link https://recordoflanding.ca/faqs/what-is-a-confirmation-of-permanent-residence/, the Country of Issue corresponds to the same country of issue as your passport. Where was your passport issued?
i think you are still confused

PLACE of issue is Dubai
Country of issue should be india

Just to clear any doubts
Place of issue is where the passport was issued... meaning Dubai or UAE or wherever the passport was issued from
Country of issue is ALWAYS the citizenship country, not residence country... so in this case - India.

Thanks for the clarification. In any case, my wife is an India national who lives in the UAE. Her COPR said "Place of Issue: London". It doesn't mention any country of issue. She landed with it and obtained her PR card so...

I wish you all luck with your application Damocles!

Thanks to you all for your best wishes. I still have a long way to go after I restarted the process.

how can i know which is my VO?

My BG just turned to IP2, but i didn't receive any email regarding this update.

Hoping to get PPR soon, is there any acknowledgement or communication other than the PPR email in the online account too?
Are you PNP Outland or PNP Inland?

BG changes do not trigger emails, just Medical and the PPR. Best of luck.

Any updates on your application veebee?
Had to hire an immigration lawyer to help with my case. But basically at the end of it all, I still might be accused of misrepresentation. We'll see. I will update on the end result. This may take another 3 months.
