Experience the same issue as many of you:
Review of medical results: We have requested a medical exam. Check your messages below for details.
Review of additional documents: We need additional documents to process your application. Check your messages below for details.

But NO messages!!
Does anyone know what the additional documents can be...? I have submitted Schedule A and PCC.

I also want to book an appointment for the medical exam but to be able to do so I need the Medical Examination Form, which apparently CIC will send when they request a medical exam... Can that form be found somewhere or CIC have to send it to you?

So I see i'm not the only one having difficulties with CIC today due to the website updates? I'm getting nervous now, I checked my CIC and they are requesting additional documents, but there is no message below...

I called CIC and was unable to talk to anyone due to a high volume of calls, but the automated voice said the same thing "Review of additional documents: We need additional documents to process your application. Check your messages below for details."

So I have no idea if its just a glitch, or the VO flagged our marriage or what's going on!
I saw the same message yesterday, I knew it had to be an error because I my schedule A 2 weeks ago. I checked this morning and saw my background check is now in progress. as at yesterday wen I got the message it was not applicable. so I have come to the conclusion that it is an error. do not panic as long as you did not see any message . you can keep calling or send a query via web form.

Pls do you know how far away it may take to hear from cic about my application. I apply last year july, did my medical in march and it says on their website 'medical received' so I'm just wondering what's next after and how long will it take to hear back? Cuz I'm not getting to much info from my lawyer.

Hi guys,

So my husband (the sponsor) and I are ready to mail our application package. Ours is an Outland application. Problem is we have a slight disagreement about the mailing address. I told him to mail it to the address listed in the checklist (IMM 5533) under outland application, i.e.
CIC - Mississauga
PO BOX 3000
Station A
Mississauga, Ontario, L5A 4N6

But he wants to send it by courier so that CIC can receive our application package the next day. That way we save time and CIC can start processing our application sooner. Which is why he wants to mail it to the CIC courier address (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/mississauga.asp)

CIC - Mississauga
2 Robert Speck Parkway, Suite 300
Mississauga, Ontario, L4Z 1H8

Now, I'm a very by-the-book kinda person. I know that the address my husband got is from the CIC website and is a legitimate CIC address. I also understand wanting to send it overnight via a courier service than through regular mail which will take much longer. However, the latter address is NOT MENTIONED IN THE CHECKLIST AT ALL. Is it ok to mail our package to the second address? I just don't want to take any risk? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Leon
I have gone through the application need to be filled.
My wife is not staying with me here in Canada.
But in some documents they ask for her signature.
In this condition what should i do?
I can fill up each and everything but what about the signature column.
Do I have to send the papers back home?
or what?
Please help me on this.
Thanks
Regards
Aman

Ok was end of April last year or they're dealing with applications this year? I applied from Edmonton and my application was received in June 29, 2016. I did my medical march, 2017 and it says on their website that medical has been received. It's been almost three months and haven't heard anything yet from them, anyone knows what's the next step? Like how long do I have to wait from now

You're still within good timeframe. You will hear from them soon. They're currently dealing with applications from late April, early May. 2016.

Hi Leon and senior members

I have completed my application and I want to know the best way to organized the application. Or any suggestions on where do I place the PR photos and supporting photos.

If anyone had any specific way of putting their own application together I would love to hear.

Ok thanks. Also I'm wondering if they're gonna ask for police certificate, cuz I only submitted the one during my application to come to Canada in 2008. So I'm just wondering if they will require me to do another one, cuz I haven't left Canada since I came.
