Interesting...so a CIC panel approved physician went ahead and did the medical without the documentation/letter from CIC? just to confirm

PA took the email the agent sent to the hospital and also the page that shows that medical had been requested, then explained that we did not receive it..so it was treated like upfront medical exam like people used to do.

Submitted schedule A on April 09 via IRCC webform they received Schedule A on May 20. PCC i submitted upfront with file. Do they ask for resubmit PCC. Cause its been more than 6 months.

It is for the same reason that PCC is not required to be submitted upfront. It has a validity of 6 months. You may be required to submit latest PCC.

Is it okay if my wife sign and send it by scanning through email ?

Hello everyone I got this message this morning and its awkward that Ottawa VO transferred my application to Los Angeles California instead of them processing it. This is the first time I hear that Los Angeles VO can process Family sponsorship applications. Does anyone have this situation.


This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. Your application has been transferred to the visa office in Los Angeles, CA, USA for further review of your eligibility and admissibility for a permanent resident visa.



The Canadian visa office in Los Angeles will communicate with you via e-mail. The email you receive will come from email addresses that end in “@international.gc.ca” or “@cic.gc.ca”. Please add these to the “safe senders” list in your email program. You should also check your junk mail folder in your email program and/or in your email website in case important emails get filtered into this folder.



Please note that the visa office in Los Angeles cannot respond to case status enquiries at this time. We ask you to be patient and wait until that office contacts you within the next two months. Your patience will permit the visa office to begin work on your application more quickly.



However, if your personal circumstances change, such as the birth or adoption of a child, a marriage or a divorce, you must inform that visa office immediately. They must also be informed if any of the following change:



· Change of email address

· Change of residential or mailing address

· Change of immigration representative (if applicable)

· Decision to withdraw your application

· Approval of Arranged Employment Opinion by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada

ECAS: "We started processing your application on May 10, 2017."
GCKey: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

And we received an email that our application had been transferred to the Ottawa visa office on May 1, 2017.

You should call and check with an agent but I think it requires an original signature.

Yeah ecas changed that my application is in process since March 25. And I received ana email on may 25 that it is transferred to ottawa

It happens immediately once they receive the results. Mine updated as passed within 3 days of medical done.
