Visitors Visa (TRV) Processing time 2016 India

Hello Bryanna,So received a reply today from delhi office.
"This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.
As you applied online, all correspondence regarding your application is sent to your online account. Our records indicate that correspondence was sent to your online account on April 29, 2017."
But there has been no messages since Apr 2 (submission confirmation). I have replied saying that I didn't receive any correspondence.
Is there any possibility for a technical glitch in the system ?? Probably they sent something and I didn't receive it in my account?
How are you doing? So, after sending another cse last week, I checked my status today and it says in final decision: application was approved, you need to send us your passport to finalize your application. Please see messages below..
But there is no passport request letter in the application messages.
Also there is a new 'review of eligibility' row in the application details and it says we are currently reviewing if you meet eligibility requirements.
So a bit confused. Any comments?
Does it take extra time to send passport request letter after a decision is made? Or will it work just by sending my original passport along with a screenshot of my online account?

Yes, a new 'Review of eligibility' status has been added to the MyCIC account since yesterday. From what I understand, this is the first step in the processing. In your case, I would ignore this particular status update.
I suggest you wait for about 24 hours for the Passport Request letter. After that, do email the relevant visa office.
VFS will not accept your passport without the passport request letter or based on the screenshot. It's possible if you get an email confirmation from the visa office.

the status says ' we are processing your application, we will send you a message if there is an update or we need more information from you '.
And there is an application summary above the status where I have a unique client identifier.
I don't have any emails from Delhi/Bangalore visa office, I applied online so I don't know the visa office.
So I will wait for a day or two for the letter.

I have applied for a TRV through VFS in mumbai on the 18th of may. Still when i track online through the VFS website it says under process at banglore. My wife applied on the 19th of May through VFS new delhi and she got her visa stamped and returned by the 26th of May.
Should i be worried? I am also not able to link my application to my online account it keeps saying some details dont match, which is very surprising as i am entering details exactly as per passport and VFS confirmation receipt. I dont know if it matters but on my application i saw the VFS person note on the application form in pencil " US 2025 "

Do ensure you are entering all details/spellings/spaces exactly as per your application form (not as per your passport or the VFS receipt)

When the processed passport is returned back to VFS, you will get an email (that's only if you have not linked your paper app before that)

You will certainly get an email for each applicant from VFS. If you've paid to have the processed passports couriered to your residence then you can expect it in 1-2 days after these emails
