Just an update! called today and they told me call back if you haven't heard until October??

I think another way to interpate it is your case should be finalized before October.

I just send out fax to csis to find out if they are doing my security and if so whats the status .It says they will reply in 8 weeks .God knows whats going on .I don't understand y do they scrutinize sincere law abiding citizens who have been living for 5,6,7 years .They know everything about us . Our life is like open book . Seriously im sic of cic

When did your background check changed to in progress?

This just an estimation and I'm pretty sure I will get the same response in October. There is no end for it! My background changed in early April (2 months ago). I don't know what happened this year??

Hi Guys, Nov 2015 applicant here. Added spouse Oct. 2016. Just called CIC for the first time, the agent told me everything passed for me and my wife in April, now just waiting for final review. Didn't even bother how much longer we have to wait. Let's see.
