Passport to CPC Ottawa - May 2017

Got passport back today

This is bizarre Sent my passport on 24 May Canadapost say delivered on 25th May. Yesterday i called cic agent told me they received it on 29 May and its in queue for printing. But today i called agent told me he don't have any information about my passport maybe not received yet. My spouse submitted her passport yesterday in New Delhi India. Is that's why there is a delay as no update since then because they'll simultaneously process both passports??

Please if anyone have knowledge on this help!!!

Now I have to wait for next 6 weeks to get my PR card

The process was very smooth !

I reached rainbow bridge by 8 : 15 AM Canada side and found parking near by sherton hotel.

Then I started walking on rainbow bridge towards to US border (if anyone is planning to go through this bridge then please keep 50 cents change for each person , we have to add that in to machine in to open the door)

I reached US border at 9 AM and asked for flag poll , it seems US officer knows about this that people are coming for flag polling every day so he straight away provived one paper and asked me go back to canada via same way on rainbow bridge .

I reached Canada border at 9 15 AM and canada officer asked me my passport and COPR and thats it , everything finished by 9 : 30

Mine too. I'm also a May 30 delivery, but I didn't need to send my passport, just copies.

No, I'm not approved yet. This is worse than waiting for PPR!

More like minimum 8 weeks based on the new processing time on the CIC website (52 days) + current trend (actual processing time being at least one week longer than the processing time on the CIC website)

Mine was sent on 24th too. Seems like they don't like the date. This is worse than PPR wait.
