Is your spouse out of Canada? If so, what kind of proof did you provide for rent? I don't understand why CIC expects proof of same address if the couple is not living together.

1. We both live outside of Canada. I gave rent agreement. It's fine I will provide payment receipts for last 6 months that show both our names in there.

2. No they just send this email saying please provide the following documents within 30 days or they will send the package back. As others have suggested I am hoping they will process my application within a few days of receiving the additional info.

Did you received AOR? I received an email last Monday after 2 wks that I received AOR the same email that they sent you.And they are asking mu husband Supplementary information. And send it within 15 days. I mailed it last Monday and they will receive it tomorrow Wednesday.

No AOR just the request for info. My file starts with XF... what does that mean?

they need more than just rent receipts... provide them with the lease, provide them with insurance information with both your names on it, bank accounts, if you both have id with the same address, provide that. you need at least two of the items they are looking for. we included our cellphone/cable/internet bill that has our names and address, home insurance with our names and address, lease with our names, a statement showing he is added to my work benefits and that he is part of my RRSPs... they need more than just a rent agreement!

My application starts with F with numbers.its ok but it was address to my visa officer LG so i guess she or he will process our papers right away.its better to request an additional documents than to returned our entire application.God is good ❤
