Congratulations10-12 days is the average time, includes delivery time.
Additionally there is a thread for that too: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/passport-to-cpc-ottawa-may-2017.488351/page-17
I sent mine this evening..
BG status changes are notoriously inconsistent. I've seen people get PPRs directly after IP1 with no change whatsoever. That said, do you have a complex work\travel history?I'm also still at IP-1 (or at least I think it is IP-1 - "We are processing your background check")
AOR 12th Feb 2017
Medicals passed and background check changed from NA to IP-1 on the 8th April
No change in my application since then. I did not submit an upfront RCMP check, and I haven't received a request for one.
It hasn't changed back to NA, so I'm wondering whether something has held up my application or if they just forgot to change it...
My work history is fairly straightforward, but I do have an extensive travel history - done a lot of travelling in the last 10 years, including visiting several countries that may perhaps raise some red flags (Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan). So I'm hoping my security check won't end up taking too long, but who knows given my travel history. Does it usually change to "not applicable" once the security check is complete? Or is it when it changes to IP-2?BG status changes are notoriously inconsistent. I've seen people get PPRs directly after IP1 with no change whatsoever. Paaji, at least your application is approved and your security is done. Security checks are usually the most time consuming part of the process. I'm pretty sure you'll get your PPR this week. ChillHi guys here is my time line:
FSW- inland
AOR 3rd Feb 2017
Meds passed 9th March 2017
Background: NN to NS 9th March 2017
Background: NS to NN 11th March 2017
Background: NN to IP2 19th May 2017
Since I have not received my PPR yet I called CIC today. The agent stated that my security and eligibility were passed on 19th May 2017. My application has been approved on 19th May 2017. The agent stated the next step would be to receive my PPR. I asked why I haven't already received my PPR since other applicants with PPR on 19th May received their PPR within just a few days. The agent replied I could be waiting till 3rd Aug 2017 because they can send PPR at any time within 6 months of AOR. I'm am truly frustrated and I have no patience! Why did they choose to delay my PPR! There is no explanation!

What does your travel history look like? Do you have prior military\government service?I'm 10 Feb AOR and I'm still stuck on IP1. It changed to 'we are processing' on 1 April along with my medical passing on the same day.
I was requested to sent an RCMP check on 7 April and got this over to them on 19 April.
So I'm in the same boat also as some above.
I called them yesterday and they told me the same thing. They don't usually give out any information. They give you the generic "wait for 6 months" response.Called up to find out my status and they said currently it's under review. Any clue what this means.
