You can certainly go on vacation while your application is in process. Your intention to reside simply means if you intend to live in Canada. You aren't taking a risk by going on a brief vacation.

It's possible some of those people just didn't come back to update their status. For Mississauga though, not a single person has received a test invite in over 3 months now.

had my test today 20/20... very simple test. 3 mins for interview. she just checked my passport and asked me to sign the form. hopefully my oath ceremony comes in before Aug when I have to travel...
