Got the Email from NDVO for submitting passport. My wife is already in Canada on visiting visa and they have mentioned that I can submit the passport in Ottawa office.

I want to know that what will be the procedure to get landing papers signed by the immigration officer? Do I need to to the immigration center in Toronto?

My file was transferred to Delhi on 13th Dec, I think this happened a bit quickly for me.

I am super happy

I am 16th september applicant.

I Had interview today AT 10:30 am.

officer called us in booth at 11:45 so we had to wait 1hour 15 minute

My husband (sponsor) was with me. VO was very nice. Asked only 3 questions.

1- Common law is not common In India so how we are in common law.

2- What was husband address before we moved to Nepal.

3- Can we travel before 24th June (my medical expiry)

We took lots of document with us but officer didnt ask for anything. all she asked for both of our passport.

VO and we had some laugh and she said wait I am going to stamp your passport.

So we were with officer only for 20 minutes and came out with VISA

ECAS still says in process Which I dont care anymore lol.

You can go to office or else you can do flagpoling

This makes me so mad! Isn't there anyway we can voice our concerns? This is the height of unfairness in a process. I have been waiting for the past 7 months and not a single update so far. Oh how mad and frustrated this makes me. People have lives to start once they reach here, why don't they understand that they literally put 2 people's lives on hold with these ridiculous wait times. For anyone who filed post dec 7, you all are truly blessed.

You are absolutely correct. I am also soo frustrated. They r suppose to process in the order they receive the applications. Which is clearly not happening! Jan and Feb and March are receiving PPR ! I just hope we all get PPR Soon and can begin our lives in Canada.

Mine is similar case.. I have sent passport to Ottawa (received Today - 25 may). I am planning to get land at Niagara falls.

Do you know, how much time it takes them to send back passport?

Usually the 4th line in ECAS is added after issuing copr/visa stating application approved/completed. I have the same.
Our PP is with NDVO since last wednesday. I did get a new message today on GCkey account with a new section/table added. It contains Doc# (guessing visa or copr) with expiry date in 2018, UCI and PP #. We have not received the PP yet. VFS says in process.

Just imagine, i m Jul'16 applicant. Its been 11 months and no update so far. They changed the rules thats really good but it should have been retrospectively and have worked on old files first. What was our mistake, we are still waiting inspite of keeping the file before post Dec'16 applicants. No offence for post Dec'16 applicants but its really frustrating to see ourslf in queue for these many months and just recent applicants getting the PR. We are also desperate to meet our partners and start our lives together. Its really too hard to stay apart for these many much (almost an year)[/Q

I got a response back the same day.Really depends on the MP's office.

C there are 2 type of Dr. Associate with CIC
1. Who send reports online (all the hospital)
2. Were you have send (clinics- out of the main city)

Still simply if u don't trust them, then send mail to delhi and even do E-mail
Or use web form.

If they approved your relationship then they will stamp your passport on the spot.

Hey! You have come across this much till now so don't lose hope when this wait is about to end. I truly understand your situation as I am going through the same and I agree it is so frustrating to see post dec applicants getting replies and we are still in the loop (no offences to post dec applicants though). NDVO is very unpredictable but we can do nothing about it. Thats how they work. Lets just stay positive and optimistic that our turn is next. I bet you would be getting good news in the comings days or may be next week (you never know).
