yes, you should accept NOI (during the next 6 months), register a profile through the OINP Filing Portal, fill online forms, upload all documents, and pay CAD1.5k (during 14 calendar days).

PCC: useful information for some people:
1) Canada - not necessary unless CIC asks you, it may take up to 120 days or more (25 CAN + fingerprint fee);
2) USA - 2 months or more (18 USD + fingerprint fee);
3) UAE - 1 month or more (resident AED 200, from outside the country AED 300);
4) France - from 3 working days up to 2 weeks (FREE);
5) Switzerland - up to 1 month (20 Swiss francs);
6) Uzbekistan - starting 5 working days or more (FREE);
7) UK - apply online (2 options: a) £45.00 - 10 working days; b) £80.00 - 2 working days)

My friend, some agents are just crazy and I did not get it til now, other day I called them and asked them why it takes so long and why they ask me something I did not study (actually they asked me High school certificate which I did not ask them to evaluate), now they said they are going to change it, still waiting, so frustrated.
Just a correction, for UAE, it's 2 - 3 working days at max for residents. I have even seen people who applied for UAE PCC in the morning and had their PCC by the evening of the same day. I, however, do not know about people outside the country.
From outside we did get it in 2-3 weeks brother, that's why I mentioned 1 month, but i u live inside, u are fine, it's easy I think
That depends on the STATE you live or lived in and also resident or outside factors.
From Australia I know if the Indian embassy has to get the PCC from India it will take 8 weeks. But I plan on going to India soon and I will get it done there. So, I was just wondering if one month would be sufficient to get the PCC done as I will be there for a month only. BTW, I am from West Bengal, do you know anything about how long it takes to get PCC there?
If your current address is the same as the address on passport then there are two scenarios:
1. If your local police station is connected online, then you will recieve your PCC on the same day at the PSK
2. If your local police station is not connected online, then the verification process will be initiated by the local PSK. The hard copy shall reach the police station, and then they will call you to the station to review it. Usually this process takes about 1 week to 4 weeks to get completed. Once the police hard copy is received by the PSK, then they will send you an SMS informing you of the completion status. You can collect it from the PSK.
If your current address is different from the one on the passport:
1. If your current location is connected online, then the PSK will send them an online request to verify details of your residence. The police will conduct a verification check. This process usually gets wrapped up in 2 weeks. The PSK then sends you a SMS informing you to visit the PSK to collect your PCC.
2. If your current location police station is not connected online, then the process takes about 4-6 weeks to get completed.
Now these numbers are based on limited interaction with PSK's and their PCC service. But can be used as reference.
Can you please elaborate on the US and UAE process (current resident).. (Especially US; I believe I would need as lived there for 4 years) ??
I have downloaded the US FBI form but no idea how to get the finger prints done (any place in UAE ?). I am not sure if I should wait for ITA (currently at 412 CRS) and my Ielts will expire 29th August so feel like colleting documents just in case if I get the ITA.
