This forum is not very active..any suggestions to more active forums for inland applicants? Have not searched yet for any
About 35% of Canada immigrants are indians out of total immigrants. But NDVO is also very slow. So these rules do not work.Chibuz said:well, I think that maybe changing. A member on this forum who is an inland applicant shared his/her time-line and it looks good. I don't know why its particularly fast in Manila. Could it be because many folks from there apply to come to Canada? As a result, things are sped up? *hypothesizing*
Where did you apply from and under which office your application?klivon said:I got an update of "Medical Passed" about 3 weeks ago. So still waiting
I applied from Nigeria and I really don't know the Visa Office. Looks like it's the London office from the RPRF letter.Where did you apply from and under which office your application?
I don't think you can have 2 applications processing at the same time, it'll only make your case more complicated and delayed.I made an express entry profile last month and I received ITA. Meanwhile, I received certification of nomination phd stream a week ago which requires paper based submission (it is mentioned on the letter that I couldn't apply for ee). My question is should I change the question in my ee profile related to nomination to yes or shall I keep as no? Also, I read that I can submit both applications, right?
Thanks really helpful for meTushya, I found this link. To my understanding, it means that I can submit paper based and EE. Tell me what do you think

Hi AshuI think 6 months.
But PCC and MEDICAL are main issues. Cause they have 1 year validity, and u have to land with valid both of them.

Yes. You are right. There is no need for PCC. But Medical should be alive.Hi Ashu
Do we really have to land with PCC valid even though the application stays over a year at the visa office?
I have also been nominated by BCPNP undee the postgraduate category with NOC 9914 (by BC instead of ON in my case). I'm about to send a paper based application for PR, but, since 9914 is not considered Skill Level O, A, B, C or D, I'm not sure if I need to send language test results with my application. Did you send IETSL scores Aircanada? What was the NOC code in your confirmation of nomination if you don't mind me asking? There isn't an active thread talking about what happens after you received your provincial nomination and discussing the paper based application process to CIC. All threads are about applying via the Express Entry system.
I have recently received my provincial nomination from Ontario, within the Masters degree (no job offer needed) stream.
The timeline in CIC's website has been standing at 15 months for a while now. Is this accurate or should we prepare for longer?
How long does it take to receive an AOR from CIC for paper-based applications? I assume they have a massive backlog right now.
Any other discussion, comments, and tips are highly appreciated
