Same situation as yours...I got SA letter on 10th May still no correspondence to upload. I have uploaded today using web form and just typed my name and that's it...Do we have to print, handwritten the name and sign it and then scan and upload?
Are you also mailing or emailing them?

Yes you sign it and scan and upload that way if using webform that's what i understood from the letter they send. I did send like you did prior to letter without sign, and later read somewhere here this letter someone else posted too. that you have to sign and upload via web form. But you do not sign and upload if they ask in your account to upload.

Yes that's how it works, had mine returned first time via mail. no email no notification gets sent out.

If you wish you can and also everyone else can work with the spreadsheet in my signature, anyone can edit their information themselves. Not sure why other sheet is locked down . I am going to updating this sheet with my process as too lazy to sign in and request access for other excel or depend on someone else to update my stats on a sheet lol.

It's locked down because people kept messing it up. Same thing will probably happen with the spreadsheet in your signature, what's up with those red bars in there anyways?

It says passport size photos, but they want digital versions.

I got the request via cic account to upload schedule A and PCC . you've to sign the IMM 5569 form scan it and then upload it

Apparently the letter is a bit different than what some people got before when they don't have to sign scan and upload via cic account.

It says signed and completed, doesn't say that it requires and hand signed version. And the form say:
I agree that by typing my name, I am electronically signing my application.

So I could be wrong but I don't think it needs to be printed, signed, scanned and uploaded.

Canadian users get red bar cause you know us Canadians have the red flag . Well just because something will mess up does not mean you prevent those who will not mess up. It's like ooh my computer can get hacked by going on the internet, does not mean you disable internet on your computer right ?
We are all adults here and if we cannot even keep a spreadsheet clean, how the heck did we get to this forum and completed our applications to bring our loved one over ?
