Hi!
I am a PR in Canada, had already applied for my wife's PR under spousal sponsorship in NOV 2016. & at the same time I also applied for my wife's visitor visa on April 22nd 2017. Am i going to face any difficulties getting her visa? As I read in the previous threads that its difficult to get visa for spouse.

Maybe/maybe not. It's difficult to say as it depends on the specifics of your wife's application.

There have been cases where the spouse has been granted TRVs even with a PR application in process

That's great :)

Try submitting the passport directly at the High Commission in Chanakyapuri with copies of the flight tickets. If it doesn't work then you'll have to submit it through VFS + request for expedited stamping + collect the passport from VFS (not by courier)

Someone (I think on this thread) recently submitted his parents passports directly at NDVO (not through VFS) and their TRVs were stamped the same day.

Hi Guys,

I want to apply visitor visa (for less than 6 months) for my parents and younger sister. My status is PR in Canada since June 2015.
It would be a great help if you guys could guide me with the process of visitor visa application.

Thanks in advance.

If I need to apply online application which method I should use Sign-In Partner or GCkey?

For Sign-In Partner - Do I need to create three profiles (mom, dad and sister) with the same bank account (mine) and then apply separately?

This will help: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/account.asp

As you are applying for your parents + your sister, I suggest you go through this forum to ensure you present the individual strong ties of each applicant with convincing evidence/documentation

Thanks for your suggestion. Yes I believe for sibling it is not that easy as it is with parents. I hope I will get enough information from the forum before submitting the application

Do try to link their paper applications to their online accounts (MyCIC) for more updates.

When did you send the Web form/CSE?

No, do not file another application. It will not help as you will first have to request the visa office to allow you to withdraw your parents' current applications. This itself could take a couple of weeks before you are allowed to file new applications

Thanks for the reply.
It was online application. No update in CIC account.
Web form was sent on April 28 then may 08th.

Then I emailed to Delhi immigration office. But same automatic reply came...
Don't know what to do.
