wow approved but no letter. so weired!!!

I received my GCMS notes last week. It says that my security check was not started , hence my BG check is NA in CIC webpage. I don't see how our applications are finalized if our security check has yet to be initiated, something that may take a few months to process!!

Today I found out that as an inland applicant, leaving Canada will result in the cancellation of my PR application and I only have a valid status until the end of summer. Hopefully we will get our PR soon.

I think what the agent means by approved is everything is passed, not as the final decision is approved.

No, It means the final decision has been made. You will get email today. when was the last time you called them?

Who told that if you leave Canada, your PR application got canceled?

I have not found an straight answer from a reliable source to indicate that there are 0 risks to our PR applications if we leave Canada. Some say it is OK to leave, some say it is not. CIC gives a vague answer on what their policy is with regards to this situation. I just wanted to share with everybody my findings so people are aware about the risks and uncertainties.

If you look on this forum and other places on internet, you will find contradictory opinions with respect to this topic. I am not sure who is wright and who is wrong. As an example, please check the links below:

where CIC mentiones "Yes. However, if you leave Canada while your application is being processed, you must meet all the admissibility rules before being allowed back into Canada" meaning if they ever need us in Canada during PR application, it is our responsiblity to have valid work/study permits and TRV visas to re-enter, otherwise it says "If you are unable to return to Canada, we could determine that you abandoned your application. In that case, we will not process it."

I am still hopeful but am a bit frustrated as I can't figure out what is going at CIC with respect to inland applicants

Following the November thread, 3 PNP-Inland applicants received PPR today. Their AOR dates are 25th, 27th and 29th of November.

Why is there "ZERO" movement in my application???? My AOR is Jan 12. 2017. No update since medical passed on March 16th. BG Check is stil "Next step.............." I will call CIC tmw morning to check. This is unbelievable. I got no additional document requests at all.....................

I called CIC this morning, wait time was ok, just 5 mins. She said my R10 check is still blank !!! How could it be possible? it's been almost 4 months. Not sure what is going on !!!!!

Correction to my previous post:

Yesterday 4 people in the November thread received PPR. Their AORs are : Nov 25, 27 x2, 29
Today so far 2 people in the November thread reported PPR. Their AORs are: Nov 24, 30

They are all PNP-Inlanders
