Year Awarded section in WES submission form.

Hi,

While filling the WES form, under education section, there are two fields, Years attended and Year Awarded.

In my case, I have done Bachelor of Engg. from 2004 to 2008 and i had 2 backlogs in 7th Semester, which I cleared in 2009.

My B.E. degree says that i have passed the examination in 2008, but in transcript, the year mentioned against 7th Semester marks is 2009.

So, what year should i select in Year Awarded section?

Mate WES Form is optional. So if you send your documents without that too, then there will be no issue at all.

If you don't submit the WES, they still know your education background through the online form you fill-up at the time of making application to them.

Karenn you misunderstood.. but even what you are advising is INCORRECT. ECA needs to be submitted along with original diplomas and transcripts (and IELTS) in an EE APPLICATION or else it would be rejected.

Nitinsha write the year on the degree best and maybe make a note to them to explain the situation just in case!

careful, transcript envelope has to be sent from the university or yourself as long as it's stamped and sealed from the university. you can't send a transcript you have

Yes, and the University stamp has to be on it! I sent only one envelope with everything in it. Stamped by the University and with Reference number to the address mentioned on WES website.

Pick your country there is a list of documents you have to send, I dont know that.

For Bachelor education, Transcript and Copy of degree is mentioned.

The confusion was for the year awarded section in the WES online form and the documents which are to be sent.

Dude, how come your ECA have transcript section in it. ECA format for immigration don't have transcript section at all. Of you submit the wrong one, you will be rejected.

It does. University sends transcript and you send diplomas. That's the way it's always been and yes I'm 100% sure it's for immigration to canada

Those are the document requirements for to ECA evaluation. But he still need to request the correct format. I saw a lot of people being rejected by IRCC because they submit the wrong ECA format. Indeed, that's the most common reason for rejection.
