Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

I was just now able to link my OWP application online. Hope everything goes well with it. I had to get my passport renewed after i submitted, but I got conf from CIC that my new passport documents were well received.

I am still going to try to call them and confirm

my spouse got the OWP within two months of filing the application.

However, we have not received the SA yet (Inland applicant).

Second, I am sponsoring my wife inland, she is from Austria, and I am from Montreal and I have a couple questions!

I sent the sponsorship package along with the OWP application, they have received it on april 5th.
And today my wife received this email, and im wondering if this is AOR?

I did all the documents by myself, and I was a little bit worried to have missed something and would get the package returned...
Does that email mean they have accepted it? and I did things correctly?

Also, I was able to link her application to the CIC account.
But I was not able to link the OWP unfortunatly, with any combination...
Does it usually take more time to be able to link the OWP application?

. Yes it is an AOR, means it was accepted And should go ahead and link your application . From previous post I think it takes about 2 weeks or more to link OWP and some applicants who submitted together with their inland application didn't bother to link.. and I have been trying to link my OWP as well but no luck so I have decided to wait.

I just received my OWP in the mail and it states that I have a restriction working in healthcare. I have my up-front medical scheduled for next week and I plan on requesting to remove this restriction after my medicals are passed which is going to take forever again. Does anybody know if this is allowed and how we can remove this restriction? Thanks for anyone who can give an insight!

Congratulations!

I believe the OWP is processed in a separate office. We were able to link ours a few days after linking the main PR application.

Speaking of OWP. We just got ours in the mail today. Not bad considering it was only a month ago we sent our application in and less than three weeks from AOR.

You might have better luck asking the folks in the Temporary Residence Visa section of this forum.

I reported the technical issue about my PCC and Schedule A that I can't submit through my CIC account but they sent me back an email with the general information how to link my application online ...I already did that,,,I can't submit my formsIs my English isn't good enough to explain the problem lol..tomorrow I'll just mail it to them

We just got my spouse's FBI check in the mail. Took 10 weeks from when we posted in the mail and when it was sent back. Now we wait for one more PCC and can send Schedule A.

I think you can just mail it to them. I mailed my Schedule A last Friday and now the status of Background Check on Mycic changed to: We are processing your background check. This is the only change that has been made to my account so far :
