I've studied in Preston University (Ajman, UAE campus) around a decade ago and around 5 years back, it closed down. Even the university in the US has closed. Upon contacting the registrar, she informed me that they can send my degree and transcripts to WES for evaluation but they have come across many students who were denied by the Canadian Immigration Authority as this university is not accredited and upon the feedback received by WES. However the degree and transcripts are valid and legal as this University operated under Wyoming State license.

Now there are many other evaluation services like:

-Comparative Education Service
-International Credential Assessment Service of Canada
-International Qualifications Assessment Service
-International Credential Evaluation Service

Has anyone done their evaluation from these places who have studied in Preston University or have had a similar situation? Would appreciate your feedback on this.

I am sorry if I cannot help. But I have one piece of advise, stay away from university of Toronto CES service. They take forever!

The better advise is to mail to any of your choices of agency IQAS or WES..or visit their site they have mentioned barred institutions list..
