Work permit visa got refused by cic

MY :-[ on May 2016 with below reason.

you have not demonstrated that you meet requirements of R205(a)


If i re apply now may 2017 will i get it approved and what changes i have to do .

NOTE: i have been working in canada in work permit during 2014 to 2015 fist time it got approved the refused was during the second time PLEASE ASSIST

You're going to have to provide a lot more detail in order for anyone here to be able to help you. What sort of work permit were you applying for? Was it supported by an approved LMIA? If not, why are you LMIA exempt? What job was the work permit for? Etc.

later 2016 i applied for same category WP it got refused with reason you have not demonstrated that you meet requirements of R205(a)

YES my Work permit is LIMA exempt. since it it ICT category.

And it was for -NOC2174.

1. You could apply for your GCMS notes (CAIPS notes) but I think that you will find that you were refused an ICT for "specialized knowledge" that IRCC has tightened up.

Qualifying job positions for specialized knowledge workers

As of June 9th, 2014, a more rigorous assessment will be applied by officers processing work permit applications for Intra-company Transferees (ICTs) applying as Specialized Knowledge workers.

In order for the applicant to be eligible for the exemption (whether under R204 or R205), it must be determined that the applicant possesses a high standard of "specialized knowledge". For entries pursuant to R205, the applicant must be offered a wage given consistent with the Canadian prevailing wage.

Just curious to my knowledge i have not demonstrated much about my Specialized Knowledge while processing my second Work permit application , because i though it would go through, since i have been working in Canada on WP before .

If i make proper Specialized Knowledge and demonstrate well will it get approved?

Will my previous refusal of work permit have any impact on my current application ?

None of us can predict if your work permit will be approved. But yes - you must prove specialized knowledge.

Like scylla mentioned no one can predict that as we dont know what were your circumstances in that case. if you are able to cover/ justify reasons of previous refusal it will be approved.

So you need to include a strong explanation letter stating reason of previous refusal and justification and all necessary documents to support your justification, most likely it will be approved...

one more thing, Repetition of same justification/point in your explanation letter over and over again could also get your application being refused.

If any further clarification is required send the letter stating refusal remove personal details from letter and also include all supporting documents you had on that application so members can understand your case properly. e.g. about job offer // LMIA exempt etc.. what else you attached.. did you order GCMS notes if only generic reasons were ticked and no clearly mentioned reason is there.. etc

Have a question, if I submit all supporting documents with proper demonstration about my Specialized knowledge without including a cover /or justification letter to it will that get approved.

Or it is mandatory to submit a cover /justification letter along with the supporting documents?

As I told in first text .

2014 May to may 2015 my work visa work approved and I worked for almost 8 months there .

I came back due to some family reasons back to home country

Again there was a requirement my office applied for the work permit 2016.

May be it was my mistake I forgot to submit my experience letter and offer which I got during my secondment from Canda while applying on2016.

Please let me know what could be the next step .
Should I go with proper specialised knowledge without cover letter or with cover letter ????????
