FBI US PCC which applications are currently being processed ?

question: how can i check FBI PCC processing stage? they should have received my mail two weeks ago, but they have not charged any fee from my bank account.

will they charge fee ahead or after everything is processed?

Check the forum. There people mention calling them up and asking which applications are currently being processed. Latest information states that FBI is currently opening packets around 22-23rd Feb.

Yes, I got it in leas than two months. Happy for that.

But it is printed black and white.

We got it in black and white too and submitted our application

That's ridiculous! Anyway it does not matter much as you can change your hair color anytime. The report does not mention hair and eyes color anywhere.

Thanks Maverick, haha, I know they were like brown black same does not matter, I said OK, yes some of my hairs are turning red anyway (don't know why, literally red like european red , the hairdresser was baffled asked me if I have red haired people in family, I said not in fmaily I dont know anybody in India with red hair). Anyway, yes I think it should not be an issue.

One more question - In the Indian consulate PCC form they have a field named 'permanent address in India'. Can this address be different than Passport? I had got my passport in Delhi in 2009 where I was staying with my brother and his family and the address in Passport is that address, now neither he or his family nor I live there any more (all settled outside India), so I am going to provide my permanent address as my ancestral village home where my parents live. Can this confuse Visa officers? or will they understand or do I need to explain to them? thanks.

Guys,

Please help me with below questions:

1) I have got 2 PCCs, should I scan both of them together and upload as single .pdf file. Will CIC understand or do I need to explain in case I upload both in single file?
2) For FBI PCC, there's an extra second page with FBI stamp and address. Should I scan that page as well or ignore it?

1.) Scan both the PCC in the same pdf as there is only 1 file to be uploaded. It will be better if you can include an index page or something like that stating that there are 2 PCC included in the same file. This will make it easier for the officer.

2.) Yes, scan that page too.

Just gave them a call to inquire about my application that was delivered to them on Feb 17 and was informed that there were problems with my first credit card form so I had to email them a new one... the thing is, it will take another 2-4 weeks before they start processing mine and my 90 days will end in 2 weeks :'(

Do they accept discover credit card? Or just to be safe I should send Visa credit card details?

I emailed them and was told that my report has been mailed out on 10th April. Hopefully will get it in a week.

I am trying to search and I am unable to find a document on how to apply for a US PCC. I am currently in NJ. Where do you get you fingerprinting done. I downloaded FD-258 PDF from FBI website. Do I take a print out of it? And then where do I go to take my finger printing done. Is there a list of FBI approved fingerprint agents?

Basically I need all the information that you can provide. Thanks in advance!

Go to your local PD or Sheriff's office. Take a printout of the FD-258 form. They will do that fingerprints for you. They might provide you with a card itself or you can use yours. Send the fingerprints with Credit Card authorization form or money order and the FBI application form.

If you are a US citizen or GC holder, search for FBI approved channelers for faster processing.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I did that, I called the local Sherrif office and they said they dont do fingerprinting and gave me a number of some fingerprinting agency. The agency said, we dont do it for FBI processing!

Am I doing something wrong here ?
