Can anyone give a reference for the answer to the question that: Do we have to inform CIC if job changes after PR application was submitted?
A reference from CIC pages would be greatly appreciated.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/refuse.asp

"To assess an application under section A11.2, a processing office must consider the information in an applicant’s profile at the time of the round of invitations and the information provided when the applicant submits their e-APR. After an e-APR is submitted, an application cannot be refused due to a change in circumstance unless

the officer determines that the change occurred before the applicant submitted their e-APR and that the change would have caused the applicant to be refused under section A11.2: therefore, the application should be refused under section A11.2; or
the change in circumstance means the applicant no longer meets the minimum requirements of the program to which they are applying; therefore, the application may still meet the requirements of section A11.2 but can be refused for failing to meet program requirements."

Thanks and +1 for giving me a reference

but this is mainly saying you would n't get rejected if the change does not affect your eligibility, and is not saying that you don't need to inform CIC. Am I right?

Changing jobs does not affect your eligibility and therefore cannot lead to rejection.

Therefore, whether you inform IRCC or not of this new job is completely irrelevant.

Thanks a lot! I am going to inform CIC now, as they have requested my CV. I was just worried that they will see my new job and be like why I didn't inform them earlier.
I got poits for one year work experience and this new job does not affect that at all. because I left that old job when I had worked in it about two years and got points for only one year.

Thanks again.

@sutyfornow:

I also didn't expect to be asked for CV. I have earned points for two jobs (I am in CEC stream) and both were research jobs. So I am guessing that's why they are asking for CV and specifically asking about my thesis, supervisors, publications etc.

Yes,i have gone through it.But the thing is I have applied in other noc and i have submitted all the documents for the same and today only,i got offer in another noc that is completely different from my previous noc,so i was thinking to go for it as it will provide me a very good income...so i have submitted the reference letter where it is written that i have been working from 13 july to present date in xxxx organisation.So ,if i shift my job to a completely different noc now,would that create any problem in my application.My consultant told me not to join the new job as it will raise questions but here i have gone through various posts,that say there will be no problem.your help in my case would be highly appreciated‍♀

You dont even have to have the same NOC for all jobs you list in work history.
